What do you think of what he had to say about Islam not spreading by the sword?

"MAHATMA GANDHI, speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in (YOUNG INDIA):

"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.""

He was a gullible spiritual soul! However he did live to see the muslim hypocrisy. I'm not saying he was a hindu, christian, muslim or buddhist! His selfless offer to Jinnah to lead a sovereign nation of India fell on deaf ears and Pakistan was created as a muslim state and millions lost their lives and property in the process because the muslims wanted a population displacement which is unthinkable in those numbers! Muslims cannot coexist with people of other religions. They even named their country "Pak"stan meaning "pure" as if the others are impure. The world at large knows that the statements made by the gullible mahatma in no way will redeem Islam of it's hateful bloody past and present! And we can all see how PURE Pakistan is being the breeding ground of terrorists these days!

Ghandi is one of the greatest (in terms of wisdom) people who walked this earth. All great people point out that Muhammad (PBUH) was a great person in all what he did.

Such can be said of all the great philosophies: the integrity came first, and built the temple, then the sword came and tore at it's foundations.
