Are you afraid of peace? No? Then why all of the fighting on all sides about religion? No, everyone doesn't believe the same. We know that. Is that a good reason on ANYONE'S part to ridicule, mock, or anything similar? I don't, and I don't do it to others. Ask those who know me. Everyone here knows my friend Lokasenna. She's not muslim, and I certainly don't want to do anything to her. She's one of few people I trust on here, and religion doesn't affect that. I have other friends, too, and about half of them are not muslim. We are all people. Don't you think that after how many thousands of years of fighting, we could have figured this out by now?

In my street there lives a young Irish man hailing from Belfast with the above quote displayed in his window, along with a picture of what I presume to be an IRA militant (balaclava, AK47...).

Now I fully appreciate that everyone is entitled to their views, but I think that, as we live in rural Dorset, England, his notice is a little provocative and hypocritical, as he earms a living in England. Does anyone think this is overstepping the mark?

Note: This is not meant to be inflammatory- I have visited the Emerald Isle twice and have found the Irish people to be blessed with good spirits and a beautiful land. I have several Irish friends who we share a joke with about my being English but there is never any bad blood.

Everyone is expected to partake, really those who don't go up get strange looks (it is a very small church).

Would it be considered wrong for visiting non-Christians to partake in an open communnion?

Is that sinful or blasphemous in anyway?

Would you consider it morally wrong?

Things are finally drawn in to complete perspective and faultless clarity in the moment before your heart stops beating. Would you say this is true, as far as we can tell?!

I probably would, but i know there would be issues. Im Catholic and i would want my kid baptist and communion and all that. and if the mom is of a different religion she would want her own thing. thats why i think its better to marry someone from the same religion, just to avoid those issues.

What do you think our religion of Islam says about this?

"Verily, god is mild, and is fond of mildness, and he giveth to the mild what he doth not to the harsh.

Whoever hath been given gentleness hath been given a good portion, in this world and the next.

God is gentle and loveth gentleness.

Verily you have two qualities which God and His Messenger love - fortitude and gentleness."

For me, I have two, techincally three. I converted to Islam and started wearing hijab, which felt and still feels great. I then had my two children. Those are experiences I will never forget, inshaAllah (God Willing). What are your experiences?

The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective.”—(1967), Vol. XIV, p. 299.

Why The Encyclopedia Americana declares the trinity is falsehood?
In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.

If you do, what do you think of this quote about prayer?

"Prayer is the miraj (union with, or annihilation in, the Divine Essence by means of continual upward progress) of the Faithful.

The Lord doth not regard a prayer in which the heart doth not accompany the body.

He whom prayer preventeth not from wrongdoing and evil, increaseth in naught save in remoteness from the Lord.

The key of Paradise is Prayer, and the key of prayer is ablution.

Say your prayers standing; but if you are not able, sitting; and if unable, on your sides."

If god is omnipotent and omniscient then everything in the world must necessarily be exactly as he wants it to be, because he knowingly chose to create it that way. How, then, can anyone say that something in the world displeases god, or is not as he wants it to be?

Why am I the only one who understands the bible?

Hey God, if you're listening.......Why me?

I hope this isn't your idea of a joke....cause I really don't think it's funny.

Why give me insight if there's no one out there who wants to hear it?

You're torturing me aren't you?

Come on, answer me, just one time, give me a burning bush or something so that I'll know it's you. You did it for Moses. I promise I'll give you the ten points for best answer.

Okay, it doesn't have to be a burning bush, maybe you could speak to me from a burning PT Cruiser.

Come on God, I'm begging you here. I'm a very patient guy Lord, but everybody has their breaking point and these so-called Christians of yours have got me pretty close to the edge.

I'd gladly give back some insight if you'd just let me spite a few of them. I know, they just don't know any better, but you must admit, they can get a little annoying at times.

I see my times about up. I'll be waiting for your answer.
