how do I get motivated to read my bible again.

I would like to read proverbs and eccsialite or whtever it is and the book of james and a few others, im just not motivated to, lately I been feelin abondaned by God... I feel as if It would be better if i never existed, I told a pastor that and he smiled and said thats exactly how Job felt, and it seemed that almost every situation I was told i should read Job, but thats nott he case anymore I know God doesnt force you to do sumthin but sumtimes I wish he did. I would apperciate it if only christians read this or anwserd this because your anwsers would be useless to me, I believe in God cuz i want to and I would much rather believe in a God then nothing i mean all this fuked upness for nothin? for those who will have a fit cuz of my typin I dont care.

Why is it that so many of you try to emulate the Prophet (PBUH) in every single way except in the treatment of women? Why do you let your culture take the lead when it comes to how your treat your wives and daughters? The Prophet (PBUH) cleaned his own mess, served himself his meals, helped with the housework that needed to be done, and never once said that it was the duty of a woman to cook and clean. The men of that time also cooked, and Abu Bakr would even teach other women that did not know how to cook. Why are you so able to pray the way he did, eat the way he did, and otherwise quote everything else, but ignore half of the deen? Do you think you are busier than him, who had the hardest duty of anybody by delivering the message and defending the ummah? And please don't give me that sorry excuse that you are only human, because you seem to excel in prayer so start excelling in how women are treated. What do you say?

I mean we know that fire only burns for a second and then you can't feel it. So if a person burns in hell forever, aren't they on fire for God's love and as God is everywhere, maybe that is God's hot spot for love?

Okay i stayed tha night with my best friend on tuesday night and well we went to church on wednesday and tha preacher or whatever was saying "If you was to die today ,Where would you go?" and i knew that i would not go to heaven so after tha speak was over and it was time to go home i went to tha preacher with my friend and told him that i have never gotten saved before and i have never gotten baptized before and i wanted to get them done well i got saved tha night and well this coming up sunday i am gonna get baptized well i think i am scared to go to hell thats why i am gettin baptized i mean yes i believe in GOD and i do want to go to heaven but i dont noe if it is right for me to get baptized on sunday sumone please tell me if it is okay or not?????

Are these maybe the pagan/wiccan gods of old?
The gods witches etc. worship?
These are the old gods who dwell in darkness.

So according to this passage, these evil gods that caanintes etc worship exist, but God ultimately rules over them and controls their fates.
What do u think?

I live in a house of five and two of us do the same degree subject. I worked very hard for my degree and despite my mother dying half way through managed to get a 2:2 which I am happy with.

My housemate is famous for his bullshi**ing abilities and will do no more work than the minimum required for a pass. If he can he will ask others what it is he needs to research and write in order to get the grade (which usually meant me). He's a real lazy, smarmy guy who has managed to wangle a 2:1, and now he's rubbing it in my face (he is obviously naturally quite intelligent, moreso than me, just lazy and expectant of others).

What should I do; ignore it with dignity, point out that it's a shame final grades aren't reflective of effort, break his nose, what?!

Thanks for all serious advice.

I know this Q doesn't really belong here but some of you guys are the best at dealing out advice!
