Is it a sensation deep in your gut? Is it a re-ocurring thought or is it an actual voice....like the message is heard deep in your head. Sounds a bit crazy, but seriously I am confused because the bible talks about how we should "listen" to God and how he speaks to our hearts...well how? How do I even begin to know what God's answer to my questions are? *sigh* And how can you know what his promises are for your life, aside from the ones in the bible?
This is important to me and I only need serious answers. If you feel like joking around then please find someone else to mess with...I need some clarity.

Because Women have the ability to create the most complex thing in known existance and we don't seem to consider them divine - and this is something real. It makes me think the Abrahamic religions are only structures of belief based on the fear of death, since we dont need religion to create or educate us.

this is another verse shows that Jesus has a God above him, and he is no way is equal to God, and the Trinity is three different beings.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. John, 20:17

how will you then explain this?

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him. He that comes to him must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him".

Atheists you must let go of evolution and embrace creation.

you must let go of mis-guided men and their theories and embrace faith in God's word.

You must reject tradition and receive the truth.

you must move from darkness to light.

you must transition from death to life

you must remove the blinders from your natural eyes and put on the spiritual eyes of faith in God.

The Bible says and I quote: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1.

Faith in God allows you to receive that which seems so impossible, believe the incomprehensible and uphold the invincible. Have faith dear friend in God. Make plans to have your faith nurture in God's word this weekend in a good bible teaching church. Take that first step toward God tonight. "Pray".

Because it would save me some time since I wouldn't have to start my own. But if I do, this is going to be the first place where I'll be known as the Pope of the Church or Ice Cream.

It's an omnicient being with unlimited powers. How could our lives be all that compelling for it to be involved with? It can create planets and stars and far more interesting and complex life forms, but instead it chooses to concern itself with helping basketball players win the championship and making sure your Uncle John is okay after his gall badder surgery.

Is God's involvement in our lives some kind of game it plays? Or are we really the best thing God has to do with it's time?

I see an awful lot of questions which ask for the Authority of Scripture for one practice or another that some Christians disagree with. The implication being that if they don't do it others shouldn't, or that things can only be done their way or those who do them are damned.

On may 25th, I attempted suicide and REALLY hurt my best friend. I care about him so much, and it is so hard to know that I hurt him. He told me that for now he doesnt have what it takes to love me...he said things may be different in the Fall when he comes back to school, but that a lot of that will depend on me. I don't want to go all summer without talking to him, but I dont want to push him either. Before all this we were best friends and could talk about literally anything. He was always there for me nomatter what...and always told me that I could trust him because he would always be there. I messed up betrayed his trust...I dont want to make things worse so what can I do besides get better for myself? I am in counseling and learning that I have a lot to live for. It takes him a long time to heal, but is there anything I can do to help the situation? We live five hours apart

I think it is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (Father Son and Holy Spirit)...do you believe in it? And if you do, are they "one" or physically seperate? How do you perceive them?Does the Bible explain what it means or just makes references to all three? Any information you have please share...And also how important is the Trinity in your religion?

"Once it is understood that atheism is merely the absence of belief in any gods, it becomes evident that agnosticism is not, as many assume, a “third way” between atheism and theism. The presence of a belief in a god and the absence of a belief in a god exhaust all of the possibilities. Agnosticism is not about belief in god but about knowledge — it was coined originally to describe the position of a person who could not claim to know for sure if any gods exist or not." --Austin Cline, briefly, from "Atheism 101"

that is why Jesus was sent to us..........I may not have found Jesus, but he is the only religon that makes sense to me. In my own way....the way the christians teach it, I want to be Jewish and the fact that I only found the God of Isreal.

this is my own faith......

I found the teachings of Jesus wise. I found the churchs teachings evil and dumb. No one is aloud to be perfect, they say to me. That is why we need a messiah and sin is always in this world defeating all the time. We always fall to solom and glammora.

Jesus teachs me that I wanted everyone perfect, that is why they fall short to the glory of God....no one searches my hand for perfection. That is why I died for them.

isn't this evidence that God and Jesus are two different things?

Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
John 8:54

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mark 12:29

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me
John 7:16

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matthew 19:17

and after all this, catholic insists that Jesus is God ignoring all the evidence that proves not. but follow the words of John instead?
