If God told you how He feels, why wouldn't you take Him at His word?
He wrote a book you know.

Have you ever gone to dinner with your friend alot of times, especially to the same restaurant? After awhile, you begin to understand the way they think, and what they order (and why) so that you begin to anticipate what it is that they will have, although they can always surprise you and order something unique for a change.
Listening to 'God' can be akin to the above, only the more you listen, the more (and less) you begin to know. Someone who says they know any friend totally, absolutely, does not know their friend, and actually know the least about them. But anyone who says "I know them pretty well, but they are always surprising me" knows them as well as they can be known.

Just as in science one can predict by seeing a pattern. Pedictions are only an generalization. The patterns come from what is directly quoted in scriptures by God. there are times in the scriptures when a person is directed to directly write what HE wants written. Other than that I believe that people use scripture to reinforce a point that they are making and the scripture is quoted wrongly. Just use common sense, your God given sense of right and wrong and or pray on it if you fell it is warranted.

The only way we can know how God "feels" about any topic or action, is if He tells us (or has told someone in the past, who has recorded the conversation).
This is consistent with knowing ANY human person's feelings or opinions about anything: to be an accurate witness, a person must be able to have seen the feeling or heard the opinion voiced, or had it told to them in explicit detail. You won't know, for example, how I feel about animal experimentation, unless I TELL you how I feel about it. Anything you try to claim (about my opinion), without my communicating it to you, is therefore an assumption, and not trustworthy.

One can't. No one can presume to know the mind of a God. A God can give you some clues as to what's on the mind but unless he/she actually "speaks" to you, you have absolutely NO idea.

Not any and everyone can say that they know what God is going to feel about something.
The only way for someone to possibly be able to is if they have a life of ABIDING in the Lord.
The Lord Jesus said.. I am the Vine, you are the branches, he who abide in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit for apart from me you can do Nothing.
The Lord also spoke lower down in this passage of us asking whatever we will and it shall be done. Paul took care of the believers with " the inward parts of Christ" .. this is deep and profound and possible in the Christian life.
WHen we are abiding ..and i mean truly allowing the Lord to be flowing in our whole being through His Spirit who indwells us .. then all that the Lord feels regarding something..from how we comb our hair to how we speak to people and react to things and situations is GOVERNED by the Lord because of this ABIDING Existence.
You just don't suddenly " know" what God is feeling. ..this comes over time and learning to sense the Lord's voice and speaking through speading time in the Word and in prayer and fellowship in spirit with the Lord Jesus..
Paul speaks to Timothy and says
" I have written to you young men because you are strong and the word of God abides in you.. and You have overcome the evil one"
Its the abiding word that keeps us in touch with all that is on the Lord's heart.. its NOT a sunday morning thing.. Its a day by day life of " not I but CHrist who lives in me"
Bottom line.. Abiding day by day...

God can tell you how He feels about a simple thing, or you can just easily look it up in the Bible. Not everything is in there, but some is.
Like for instance, homosexual lust and heterosexual lust. He says BOTH are an abomination and BOTH disgust Him.

It is not that I honestly know. It is the feeling I have in my heart. Yes I know atheists will say bad argument, but it is MY story and I am sticking to it (to quote a cliche)

The only way you can be infallible is by following the word of God. Since there isn't one, people made one up so their opinions would be infallible.

They can't no one knows what it is like to be God, like I don't know what you are thinking or about to do. None of us know what God thinks or what he's about to do. I think the people who say they know are pushing it a bit...
