Despite people telling me that it is the word of god-MEN WROTE IT DOWN, and they are sinners. Therefore it cannot be trusted, especially as they were fans of christianity as the temptation for sin would be huge. Christians, why don't you take heed of your own logic and realise that people capable of sin wrote the bible therefore discard it? Or do we exclude all these men from this? Or the men who wrote down the first copy..

Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

as by their own logic they tell me that all men are sinful, how do I know that he is not being a sinner when preaching? After all the temptation is extremely great fto cherry pick excerpts from the bible to make me believe...he wouldn't do that would he?

what is a difference between liberated soul ( mukta jiva ), eternally liberated soul (nitya mukta jiva ) and eternally condetioned soul (nitya badha jiva).

Question 2nd:
Can you explain by giving some examples.

Question 3rd:
how can a eternally conditioned soul (nitya badha jiva) become liberated soul (mukta jiva).

is it possible to for eternally conditioned soul (nitya badha jiva) to become eternally liberated soul. (nitya mukta jiva).

There are people here on Y/A who think that if they don't know if they have the Holy Spirit no one else can know if they do either. What are you thought's on this?

(I believe from a Christian point of view it is more correct to ask if the Holy Spirit has you but we don't want to confuse people too much)

didnt Jesus command these things :

Matthew 5:11

Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Matthew 5:44

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

what right does a christian have to hate anyone for hurting them physically or mentally or because they hate you for loving christ? when the master has commanded us to love our enemies? if you hate atheists aren't u unsaved? shouldnt you follow the commands of christ if ur truely saved?

I have never revered the virgin Mary however I do have Messianic related beliefs.

This question came to mind after reading the book "Michelle Remembers" which I caution is not for those that are quesy and can't stomach the true story of awful and bloody ritual abuse written.

During the end stages of the book, during a Black Mass held by the Church of Satan in Victoria BC, Michelle comes into contact with the presence of the Devil himself. During that time, Michael the Archangel, Jesus, and his mother Mary help her get through it.

She said that Jesus told her Mary is there so that children that do not have mothers have one. She recites her name as Ma Mere in french, a language not known to Michelle.

It's hard to go into more detail you'd have to read the book yourself, but this brings up past thoughts I've had about why the virgin Mary is practically worshipped in the Catholic religion. Am I wrong? Please explain.

Relationship - "a state involving MUTUAL dealings between people or parties or countries"

Religious people are always talking about their relationship with God. Religious leaders are always preaching about how to improve your relationship with God. Endless seminars and tapes and books are written on the subject.

Funny thing is...relationship implies a mutuality. I would love to claim that Penelope Cruz is my girlfriend and we have a relationship, except for one little problem...theres no mutuality. In fact, if I take it too far, and tell everyone that we have a relationship...maybe mix in some stalking, I could find myself in the looney bin. So why do we not look at religious people who claim to have a relationship with a non-existant personal God with the same increduelity as we would a Hollywood stalker?

Wheres the mutuality between you and God?

I beleive woman are nurturers and God sees the woman both married and single as a treasured gift and not everyone is meant to be a mom I feel where ever God places a woman it is an oppurtunity for her light to shine brightly for the Lord.

One thing I do have a problem with is woman who feel the need to be bossy, overbearing and tyrannical when they are put in charge of a ministry whether is it a mission trip, a commitee etc.

Do you find that woman in leadership are like this? I feel that woman should have an inner quiet spirirt ( I am asking God to make me more like this) and I feel some woman instead of taking charge and steamrolling people should take a step back and realize who it the REAL one in charge and that is the Lord. What is your take on this?

There are two piles of different stuff that our minds are stuffed with as we grow; religious stuff and everything else. Those unfortunate enough to be born into an overly religious family obviously have a lot of religious stuff stuffed into their minds with little room for any other stuff. The fortunate people born into families that don’t overly care for religion have general knowledge, science, the arts, history, geography, you know, useful stuff stuffed into their minds. Most people form their general theories of reality from these two different kinds of stuff and an equilibrium forms between the two. This is usually formed by adolescence and then doesn’t change much for the rest of their lives unless a traumatic event upsets the equilibrium.
