According to Isaiah 55:4 "Look! As a witness to the national groups I have given him, as a leader and commander to the national groups.
5 Look! A nation that you do not know you will call, and those of a nation who have not known you will run even to you, for the sake of Jehovah your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he will have beautified you. "

so the witness belonged to Jehovah.

Like Jesus himself, Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

Yes, indeed. Jesus was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He said specifically that he came to "bear witness" to the truth and that he was sent by God, Jehovah, to do so. That's why Jesus prayed to Jehovah, his Father, and stated that the Father was greater than he, Jesus, was.

Yes, we honor Jesus because the Bible tells us that "the Father loves the Son and has delivered all things into his hand." Also, the Bible tells us that we should confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

But the Bible does not say that Jesus is Jehovah. It says rather plainly that Jesus is not Jehovah. Jehovah is the Father, Jesus is the Son.

To confuse them would not be honoring either one, nor would it make us "Christ-centered."

We don't worry about people calling us a cult. It is God's judgment that matters. It is the "well done, faithful servant" commendation of the Lord Jesus that we seek.

Playing the "cult card" is just the refuge of the ignorant.

you have been deceived my j.w. friends.... to doubt that Jesus could direct the creation and the world from where he was before he was born is blind.

They call the god head a trio for a reason pal and no smart dude who decides to rewrite the scriptures can change that fact. I really don't understand why your religion and the islamist raise my hackles so.... maybe because even facing Christ at the judgement bar you will still tell him he's not Jehovah or that he is not the god of this world!....white is black and correct is wrong...that's the J.W. way! that's the islamic way!

Well, you got some wonderful and correct answers from those who truly know what the Bible teaches! Absolutely, Jesus is called "the faithful and true witness"...he came to witness all that his Father, Jehovah, gave to him to witness. Therefore, he was one of Jehovah's Witnesses!

(Revelation 3:14 KJV)..."And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Revelation 1:5 KJV) “. . .And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth..."

Yes, I believe that Jesus was a Jehovah's Witness. Why?
Because He witnessed and proclaimed about his Heavenly Father Jehovah to everyone during his ministry time.

Revelation 3:14 and 1:5.
That verse called Jesus "A True and Faithful Witness" so it is clear that he was a witness for Jehovah.

It means among other things 'a person giving testimony'
Of course Jesus Christ was the greatest witness of Jehovah ever on earth.
As present day Jehovah's Witnesses we too,do our utmost to speak to others about our great God,Jehovah,His Heavenly Kingdom and the many blessing that it will bring to obedient mankind.(Mat.24:14)

Revelation1 :4 describes Jesus as the first witness so who was he a witness for? Matthew 22:37,38 tells us who. And Psalms 83:18 tells us God's name, which is Jehovah. Simply put, Jesus was a witness for Jehovah.

Yes, he was and still is as we follow in his footsteps closely doing our ut-most to make His name known to mankind with our preaching work. Jesus was the perfact witness to how his Father loves us. For a son to willingly do what was asked of him so others having faith may have everlasting life is the best witness there could be.

This kind of love surpasses every love we as humans have ever known. To feel His love brings tears of joy to a person's eyes. I long for that time when our tears will be for only joy.

Not sure where your question is, but yes. If you believe that Christ is God in the flesh, then clearly his actions on the Earth were a clear Witness to the kind of God he is. If you recognise him as being the son of God, then by his life, he offered I think he offered a rather nice Witness for God. If he was simply a prophet, or even just a good man then by his teachings and life he offered a wonderful Witness for God.
