i mean, are they ultra conservative or are they somewhat open to experiences(like kissing, touching etc..)?
Im asking cause a friend said JW's aren't allowed to masturbate, it is in their scriptures and tracts and it is a sin which leads to homosexuality - which is obviously not true - but is their reason for so many homosexuals.
Any witnesses or friends of witnesses that know if this is true?

Agree or disagree.
1. Man can choose not to sin, but he chose to sin.
2. God provided, in Christ, a way to overcome judgement.
3. People who reject that sacrifice have made a choice.
And as the rock group rush once said----"If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice."

If my name is blackened without proof, I have recourse to the law via libel or slander. But when a christian pronounces me an evil sinner who will burn in hell for all eternity, I stand no chance of a successful legal action on the normal basis of a requirement of proof to substantiate allegations.

Neither would I have any chance of success by claiming harassment, even though hardly a day passes without me being bombarded with offensive messages, which in other cases would be clearly seen as harassment.

Christians seem to think so. If they are right, than the majority of humans are going to Hell.

into motion. The sun, moon and stars stand as markers for seasons, days, and years. (You might want to read about Stone hinge. It's not in the Bible but it does make reference to time)) Anyway,If I understand the theory of evolution correctly, things should evolve and progress forward, get bigger and/or better. So, why are days still 24 hours long as God created them to be? Why hasn't evolution gone forward and made days 25 or more hours long? Why are weeks still just 7 days and years still 365 days long? If evolution is responsible for time, matter, earth, sun, noon, etc. why are we still in the "God made" 24,7,365 mode? A LONG time ago, were days like thousands of years long? If so, why did time regress rather than progress? If time is regressing, will days become 23 hours long ? Why no progress?

They claim to be so moral, and respectful, and yet insult the name we are most proud of in our lives.

Yes, way back we knew each other before this emanation, Ha, we had a great plan, to lose ourselves all for the surprise of finding ourselves again. Do you remember? Or maybe I've just become unglued. ~ : )

The letter was about hoe Jesus gave him a special pen so he could write his mom and tell her he was OK and that only she and he could see the letter. I'd love to have a copy of this letter if anybody has seen it on the Interner.
Thanks

Or did some other very bad stuff. Then you lost your memory and ended up in a place where no-one knew you. So you had no memory of that happening. So you become a good citizen and get a job and get married and settle down. You get born again or you become a good Catholic or a good atheist or whatever and you live a blameless life.

Then the police catch up with you and you are genuinely puzzled. You have no memory of what you did and you don't feel you should be held responsible. But they do.

Well, maybe you know what I'm getting at. Karma, reincarnation....

Is that how it works?

We know Allah did not speak directly to Muhammad therfore Muhammad would have had to followed the written word of God. If Muhammad did follow the word of God prior to 600 then he must have surely followed an uncorrupt scripture. If Muhammad did not follow the word of God prior to writing the Qu'ran could he be a prophet of God? Moses said all prophets must be in agreement and in agreement with the word of God. If Moses was indded a prophet who spoke directly to God he would have surely been correct about this. Can anyone show me what book he agreed with that refered to all of these prophets and did not teach the atonement? What book did Allah refer to when he said say to the people of the book I agree with the revealtion handed down to you your god is my god?

If so, then the Law must still be binding.
For sin is a transgression of the Law according to the New T.
Therefore the Sabbath is still to be kept according to Gods Holy Law of the Ten Commandments.

If you ask most people what they think the devil looks like, they'd probably insist it looks very similar to the 2 horned, grotesque, hollywood variety. I think the devil is much too smart for that. His biggest oppostion, obviously, is our faith in the belief of God. Don't you think that the logical approach of science would be his best weapon against faith. Think about it. In Christianity we are to believe that we were born from the image of God, science says we evolved from monkeys. God created life and the universe, science says the Big Bang and nebula clouds, atoms and fusion... Religion is based on faith in the unbelieveable, yet slowly, throughout the course of christianity, the church has accepted science's "proven" facts. Isnt that ironic? Can't you see the pattern? Science is based on facts and proof. But who's to say that that nobel prize scientist who will someday prove that there is no afterlife, no God, is really just the devil in disguise?

Your god wrote your religious book, using your men and your people to spread the word, apparently. How can that be reliable? It's like asking MacDonalds to give us an impartial view of their hamburgers...What's that Ronald?, it's actually 30% fat and has 40 grams of MSG in it, well thanks for being so honest..

I am a dedicated atheist, and the most ridiculous part of the bible, to me, is Noah's Ark. The impossiblity of gathering 2 of EVERY species of animal makes me laugh. Also, the ark would have had to be bigger than all the earth's landmass, impossible to be built by men. I want to know if atheists agree, and why christians disagree.

Im passionate about helping people build their relationship with G-d and about building and sharing my religion. Thats what motivates me to be on here. I want to see people affected in a positive way.

I would hope thats what motivates any Christian to be on here. Or just to learn more about your faith.

What motivates an athiest to try to tear down Christianity?

Is it simply to get back at a Christian that at one time hurt your feelings? Does it accomplish anything positive?
