We know Allah did not speak directly to Muhammad therfore Muhammad would have had to followed the written word of God. If Muhammad did follow the word of God prior to 600 then he must have surely followed an uncorrupt scripture. If Muhammad did not follow the word of God prior to writing the Qu'ran could he be a prophet of God? Moses said all prophets must be in agreement and in agreement with the word of God. If Moses was indded a prophet who spoke directly to God he would have surely been correct about this. Can anyone show me what book he agreed with that refered to all of these prophets and did not teach the atonement? What book did Allah refer to when he said say to the people of the book I agree with the revealtion handed down to you your god is my god?

Amir Abraham was first mention in the first book of Moses..Now Moses tauth the tree of life which as I see it is Jesus Christ the atonement, Abraham also had a prophsey of the lamb of God which would atone for sin, Abraham said the lord would provide himself a lamb. why would a man who agreed with these teachings say there is no atonement? The books of Moses also say that the child that was ot be sacrificed was Issac as I see it in the Quran it says Ishmael...so you claim Muhamamd agreed with the books of Moses? Why not mention these truths?
Why do Muslism claim the books of Moses were corupt? If they were corrupt apparently Muhammad did nto agree with them and could not be a prophet of God.

I am paer Moses taught the tree of life....Abrham said God would provide himself a lamb, Isaiah said the Messiah would atone for sin with his blood. Jesus said he would fufill the propesies of Isaiah 53...appaerntly Muhammad did nto agree wiht these prophets or the word of God that existed at the time of the Qu'ran...Moses would say if a man does nto agree with the prophets of God nor the word of God he can not be a prophet of God. the Qu'ran says he did agree with God's word and that the book was written by Allah and Allahs word can nto be changed...can any of this be true? If so what book did Alalh author before the Quran that you should be in agreement with and that Muhammad was in agreement with?
The Qu'ran say say to the people of the book we agree with your revelation your god is my god....Wher are these people of the book that muslims agree with and where is this book that agrees with the Qu'ran? It must speak of all of the prophets and also not agree with the atonement.

It does nto agree wiht muhamamd as Muhammad did say God simply forgave Adam sin did not enter the world... it also takes the tree of life out of the garden...It also teaches Abrham did take Ishamel for a sacrifice not Issac....the Quran nor Muhammad is in agreement with the books of Moses...lets try another book.

Upsman, If you ahve beenr eading my questions to Muslims for the past year or better you have hit on all of my questions to Muslims...I can't imagine why these things would not matter to them but they seem to be totaly unconcerned. If Allah says he si the god of Abrham he surely would have some record of agreeing with himself and he seems to say he is in agreement with his previous scripture although he is not..It's as if Allah hasn't read his own book...If allah did purposely allow his word to be corrupted for thousands of years...then no man could trust his written word nor could any man be righteously judged by Allah. It is indeed strange ot me Allah does ntoseem to call his word corrupt but his followers enjoiy saying there God allowed man to make a liar out of him and yet his new book can be trusted because it is nto only his word but it contains a promise to keep it...If Allah's written word is no good what good would a promise within his written word be?

Lawrence...All prophets before Muhammad were in agreement and in agreement with the word of God. It is a requirement in being a prophet. where are the word of the prophets not written int eh Qu'ran that are in agreement with Muhammad? In other words what word of God did Muahmmad refer to before he met Gabriel? It couldnt be a corrupt word of god or Muhammad could not be a prophet of God...It couldnt be the word of God that we recognize because Muahmamd's Quran is not in agrement with these scriptures...according to the Quran there is such abook it seems to refer to the Bible as it uses all of the prophets of the Bibles names...Wher si this book that shows these prophets and theya re in agreement with Muhamad and his Qu'ran? ther must surely be a book as the Qu'ran refers to this book and even tells Muslims to agree with the revealtions handed down to the people of this book...this book must surely exiast in a uncorruptible form as the Qu;ran commands you to agree with it and Allah is

Thanks Lawrence your saying the word of God in the Vatican teaches Christ did not atone for sin?...If you say the same applies to Moses I say Moses spoke directly to God....Muhammad agrees he did nto speak directly to God but an angel...where did Muhammad go to follow God's word prior to speaking to Gabriel? If Muhammad was a prophet of God he had to follow the word of God and If Muhamad did not speak to God directly he had to follow the written word of God...Where is this written word of God that Muhammad followed? It woulld have had to refered to all of the prophets of God as the Quran mentions them and it would have had to not agreed with the atonement in order to be in agreement with Muhammad's Qu'ran. Moses said all prophets had to be in agreement with each other and with the word of God...Please show how Muhammd could be a prophet of God and not agree with God's word?

BTW Lawrence the Qu'ran teaches Moses spoke directly to God and Muhamad did not...In order for Muhammad to follow the word of God prior to speaking wiht Gabriel he would have had to follow the written word he did not speak directly to God...this writeen word would have had to contain the words of the prophets of Old and New Testament As the Qu'ran refers to both...This written word would have had ot been uncorrupt as how could the prophet trust the written word of God if it had been corrupted? Somewhere therer would have to be a perfect word of God for the prophet ot follow in order for him to follow God's truth if not how could he be a prophet of God if all he had was a corrupt word to go by? Muhammd being a prophet would have ot have had acesss to the perfect word of /God so he could follow god perfectly... if Muhammad could not follow god then he could nto very well have been a prophet of God could he? Moses says he needed to agree wiht God's word and hsi prophets...How could he?

Lawrence you are hearing what I am not saying. i did not say that all prophets who did not speak directly to God were in any way incorrect what I am saying is that they were in agreement with the prophets that were before them and the written word of God. Lawrence if your read the Bible and seek God's truth you will find it is in agreement and each prophet was in agreement wtht the others and only men who called themselves prophets of God and were not ..are in disagreement with the ture prophets of God. it is how we are to decide who is a true prophet of God. It is the reason Christians and Jews do not accept Muhamamd as a prophet of God.

The Bible does not state that Moses became a prophet and then spoke to God. Many people of that time and before spoke directly to God as there was no scripture...Abrham talked to God so did many others I dont think it is required to be a prophet neither did it make a man a prophet. Cain also talked to God.. One thing is for sure a prophet of God must agree with God. and the prophets of God and Muhamad did not agree with the word of God as you call it corrupt neither did he agree with the words of the prophets which you also call corurpt according to the books of Moses he could not be a prophet of God.

Here is just one of the many problems I have with the Muslim religion and the Koran:
1)The Koran teaches that the original new testament("gospel") is a revelation of God[sura5:46,67,69,71]
2)Jesus was a prophet and His words should be believed by Muslims[sura4:171;5:78]. As the Muslim scholar Mufassir notes,
"muslims believe all prophets to be truthful because they are commissioned in the service of humanity by almighty god(Allah)".
3)Christians(according to the Koran) were obligated to accept the new testament of Mohammads day(7th century AD,sura 10:94).
In this sura Mohammad is told:"If thou wert in doubt as to what we(Allah) have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the book(the bible) from before thee;the truth has indeed come to thee from thy Lord; so be in no wise of those who doubt." Abdul Haqq notes that "the learned doctors of Islam are sadly embarrassed by this verse, referring the prophet(Mohammad) to the people of the book(the bible) who would solve his doubts."
Christians respond to this verse by making 2 crucial points:
1) Mohammad(who wrote the Koran) would not have asked them to accept a corrupted version of the new testament.
2)The new testament today is substantially identical to the new testament of mohammads day, since todays new testament is based on existing manuscripts that go back even centuries before Mohammads day.. Hence, by the logic of this verse, Mohammad should accept the authenticity of todays bible. But if they do, then they should accept the doctrines of the deity of Christ and the Trinity and the crucifiction of Christ since that is what the new testament teaches. However, Muslims categorically reject these teachings. Hence, the dilemma within the islamic view.
There is another inconsistency within the islamic view regarding the bible. The Koran says that the bible is the "Word of God"(sura 2:75). Muslims also insist that Gods word cannot be altered or changed.. But if both these statements are correct then it follows that the bible has not been changed or corrupted, either before or since Mohammads time. However, Islamic teaching insists that the bible has been corrupted. Thus the contradiction.
Furthermore, it is unreasonable to suppose that the jews and christians would conspire together to change the old testament.
For the jews feelings towards the christians had always been hostile. Why would 2 hostile parties(jews and christians) who shared a common old testament, conspire to change it to support the views of a common enemy, the muslims? It does not make any sense.
What is more, at the supposed time of the textual changes, jews and christians were spread all over the world, making the supposed collaboration to corrupt the text impossible. And the number of copies of the old testament in circulation were too numerous to guarantee that the changes would be uniform.
Also, there is no mention of any such changes by former jews or christians of the time who became muslims.....something that they surely would have reported if it were true.
Furthermore,Muslim rejection of the new testament is contrary to the overwhelming manuscript evidence. All the Gospels are preserved in the Chester Beatty Papyri, dated about AD 250. And the vast majority of the new testament exists in the Vaticanus Manuscript B that dates from about 325-350AD. In addition, there are nearly 5,700 other manuscripts of the new testament dating from the 2nd century AD to the 15th century(hundreds of which are from before the time of Mohammad) that confirm the same substatial text of the whole new testament existing in Mohammads day.
To sum it all up, Islam and the Koran diametrically contradict many parts(and doctrines) of the bible that the Koran itself says is the Word of God. Muslims try and explain this away by saying that the bible has been corrupted. But I've clearly shown why that can't be true.

Mohammed, pbuh, was a monotheist, not a Jew or a Christian, but a believer in one God. There were a small number of monotheists in Makkah at the time, including also Khadija, who become the wife of the Prophet.
I don't know that any uncorrupted written scripture has been preserved to this day from so long ago. Can you answer what written scripture did Abraham, pbuh, follow?
What do you mean about a book which refers to prophets but does not teach atonement? Muslims are taught to sincerely repent for their sins, but are taught that Allah does not prefer blood sacrifices. Sincere repentance comes from within and manifests itself in a change of behavior.
"People of the Book" refers to the people who follow the Torah and the Evangel. There is only one God.

Muhammad believed the Scriptures of the People of the Book, to be God's word. Muhammad's teachings are self-contradictory.
There are about 12 verses in the Quran that specifically mention the Gospel. A large number of Quranic verses testify to the truth of the Gospel. Muhammad, as a self declared prophet, supported those Scriptures because he believed they were God's word as he believed his Quran was God's word.
Muhammad was unaware of the full extent of those Scripture's teachings and this ignorance allowed him to make contradictory statements because his words and teachings, i.e. the Quran, contradicted these Scriptures.
Today, we recognize that God would not send a confused or ignorant man who contradicted himself and His word.
Many Muslims today say the Bible is corrupted. But there is nothing in the Quran that supports this. There is not one word in the Quran that teaches that the Scriptures of the Jews and Christians have been perverted by man. Instead, the opposite is true. The Quran supports the Bible.
Jesus confirms Torah to the Jews:
Quran 61:6
And of Jesus the son of Mary, who said to the Israelites: "I am sent forth to you from God to confirm the Torah already revealed,..."
The above verses show the Torah was true during Christ's lifetime (the first century) because Jesus told the Jews that He was confirming the Law. "I am sent forth to you from God to confirm the Torah already revealed,..."
There was no word of "corruption" from Jesus to the Jews concerning their Scripture. There was no word from Jesus on how the Torah had been perverted. Instead, we find that Jesus confirming the Torah, i.e. the Jewish books of Scripture. And today, we virtually have the same Jewish Canon that existed in Jesus' time. Therefore, Muhammad, in the Quran, stated that the Torah in Christ's time was the valid Word of God.
Allah send down the Torah and Gospel to mankind
Ali - 3:3
It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step) in truth the Book confirming what went before it; and He sent down Law (Of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind and He sent down the Criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
Sura 10:37:
"This Quran is not such as can be produced by other than God; but it is a verification of that (the Torah and Gospel) which IS between his (its) hands, and the explanation of the Book, WHEREIN THERE IS NO DOUBT, from the Lord of the worlds."
In the preceding passages the Quran is sent as a confirmation of the Book "in which there is no doubt." Not once do these verses state that the Book at the time of Muhammad had been corrupted and needed to be corrected in any way.

The Holy Prophet (pbuh) was not a learned man. Before Quran was revealed to him, he never claimed to proclaim a message from Allah. Nor was he able to write anything. He was totally illitrate and Muslims are proud of this. Such an illitrate man taught the message that lives through all ages. We know the history have seen many great leaders come and go. But Muhammad's message is eternal, it is living as it it.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth! For He Shall Not Speak From Himself But Whatsoever He Shall Hear, That Shall He Speak.
(HOLY BIBLE) John 16:13
We Muslims say. Muhammad is the spirit of truth.
He was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope's pretensions, Caesar without the legions of Caesar: without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue; if ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Mohammed, for he had all the power without its instruments and without its supports." --Bosworth Smith, MOHAMMAD AND MOHAMMADANISM, London, 1874, p. 92.

Yes surely he was following One God thats' why he was sitting in the cave for meditation and prayer to the All-Mighty Allah (God). Even many other good Arabs were following the prophets. for example the Jews living in Medina were telling the Arabs there that a prophet is going to appear. And when those people hear about that prophet they accepted him even before mecca people. Similarly prophet Mohammad was following the religion of prophet Abraham. Who is father of all Israel prophets. All religions of the world in original shape were same like the faith of Abraham, that was called Hanif in arabic language. Abu Zar Ghafari a friend of the prophet was also a hinif. And he was bowing to Allah (GOD) before Islam. As for declaration is concerned prophet Moses declared afte 40 years of age when he saw a vision of God. He was given a book similar to Abraham. Just there was one additon that Israel is selected until the will believe in one God. et....
