Because religion is the way to explain the mysteries of life. Religion is the way to appease the popular masses, by telling them that if you are poor is not because the leaders are taking all the money is because your GOD wants is this way.
In the US, there are a lot of atheists who believe in evolution but they want to keep with the Joneses and what everybody else is doing. Americans want to keep the false tradition that it was founded with God in mind, what they do not tell you is that the majority of the founding fathers were atheists.

Science is taught as absolute. Children (as Atheists often point out) lack the basic skills necessary to question what they are told. Evolution features in Dr Seuss books and on babies T-shirts so it is ingrained on us at an early age. I have no issue with people believing evolution as long as they realise a few main points.
1) When Evolution was introduced into the school system it was taught along side creation and both were questioned and both were learned far better than evolution or creation were in the single theory structure that exists now (or 'pre-evolution').
2) There are 6 definitions of evolution. Natural selection and 5 definitions have been proven but don't prove or disprove creation. Darwinian evolution has not been proven.
3) Darwinian evolution cannot be believed alongside Christianity. They directly argue against each other.
I don't mind if people choose to believe in one theory or the other. I do mind when it is forced upon people who lack the capacity to question it.
So, my answer again: Since man believes himself equal to God, he creates science as a substitute. In faith he looks for things (theories) that agree with his worldview and never forgets to question everyone else’s views because they don't agree with his own.

People who live in advanced nations with good public education ACCEPT THE FACTS ABOUT EVOLUTION BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND THAT SCIENCE IS A MUCH MORE ACCURATE MEANS OF UNDERSTANDING REALITY AS IT IS. Only in silly, overly religious nations do people still talk about evolution as if it is a belief.

Because Evolution is the best fit to the evidence, therefore it is more like than any other hypothesis e.g created by God, design by an intelligent being.
ALL biological scientists are in agreement that evolution exists therfore it is taught.

Because they are relying on their minds alone to explain life and the world we live in. That is dicey at best, just ask those who have had a bout with mental illness.

Because they teach science, and that's what science says happened.
Best education means good sciences, maths and english, and evolution happened.

Your question has the answer in itself. They teach evolution that's why they are the best.
Evolution is the best and most widely accepted theory due to overwhelming evidence.

Perhaps it is because they learn to think for themselves, and not just follow in blind faith what someone else is saying. One must have a seeking mind to be able to find the truth. Blind faith is never the answer.
