No, the moon does not have a spiritual force. If you read your bible, which I am sure you do, it says that the Lord created the sun and the moon and the stars. The sun is to rule the day( give off light and heat) and the moon to rule the night( the moon helps with the light and the gravitational pull of the oceans. according to what scientists have learned, the moon controls the ocean waves. I discovered a very interesting article concernint the tides. happy reading. click on the site listed below.

Yes. There were special Gods and Goddess dedicated to the moon. It's no secret that when the moon is out (full moon) that it has a direct effect on human nature. You've heard the old stories of warewolves ect. Well it's a proven fact that when there's a full moon or a new moon (when the tide is at it's highest) things that wouldn't normally happen do happen. Me personally, I feel recharged when ever the full moon is out. When I was exploring the world of Wicca, the goddesses I worshiped where Hectate often known as the Goddess of Wicca or the Queen of the dead she is often associated with the darkness of the new moon and Selene the Goddess of the Moon.

Yes as much as people try to deny the supernatural things i believe that it does.. and yet you know some of these very people who deny it will still glance at the back page of the newspaper for their horoscopes.. they could call it curiosity but i call it a doubt in their minds ;) Anyways to a large extent i believe that it does. I haven't seen some spiritual force from the moon with my eyes but i have seen some weird things happen to one or two people - something exactly like "the exorcist" if you ever watched that movie - enough to believe in these things ..

The moon has been a symbol of femininity, submissiveness, beauty; is romantic and inspirational.
In Latin-America is described in songs a "the friend of the poor" because it illumines the long walks poor have to do in the coolness of the night to reach destination. The moon has also magnetic powers over our soul when we are ready.

No, But Jesus did mention that things would happen with the negative forces of nature with the moon, sun and the stars, as a sign of His return...Matthew 24.

When I walk my dog every night & look up at the moon I think of it as a blessing. It's so beautiful.
So, in a way, you could say I think it's spiritual. But not
exactly a force.

I most emphatically do
NOT
believe this. It is God that has Spiritual power as well as and a force that can not be reckoned with. For it was God who made everything and keeps everything in it's place. He can raise the dead, heal the sick, and save people in sin from all of their sins.
No person still having the nature that they were born with can serve God. That nature, the nature that they were born with, has to be radically eradicated from them by God, and He, God, has to infuse that person with His Holy Spirit.

We seem to be the only ones that attach meanings to objects Spiritual or not. Our collective agreement on the meaning gives that object its power/force.
Moon is an entity doing its job effortlessly. In silence and without resistance.
