Look (metaphorically speaking) at Christ up there on the cross, suffering and dying to pay the price for what you've done and will do which you KNOW is wrong. Pray that God will soften your heart and your seared conscience so that you can truly understand the depth of your sin. God does not take part-way repentance... you have to confess everything with a truly humble heart. "Today, when you hear His voice, do not harden your heart."
May the Lord bless you and keep you... don't give up but pray for strength to go all the way and truly and completely repent! You didn't get this far without His help and He's still calling you!
I'll pray for you!

We are all sinners saved by grace. If everybody stopped doing the things that they were doing before they gave their life to Christ then nobody wold be saved. The reason for giving your life to Him is to cause a change to happen. Theses changes may or may not happen over night but will happen as you get under a good preached word and start to feel conviction. Don't be hard on yourself and don't allow your sins to cause you to stay away from God. Just like a good parent when you mess up God is still going to love you!

Firstly, a question....By "giving your life to Christ" does this mean a formal ministry? Seminary, vow-taking....etc.?
Secondly, what things would a life of faith require you to give up? Are we talking about lifestyle changes, habits of behavior or dress? Or things like Christian sins? Are you a habitual sinner, and so feel unready for such a commitment?
I would take a look at what these things are and more, before going any further into such a process.
Though, on the other hand, with some Christians it is giving up these things flat-out that help build and strengthen the relationship with God. Ask some deep questions of yourself before going further, my friend.....
Good Luck and Goddess Bless.

Well, I'm not going to sit here and judge you for the things you've done in the past, but the Bible states that we cannot have two masters. We all make a choice with the things we do everyday. We chose to either worship God or Satan. The evil things you do (sins) are leading your soul to Hell. And Hell is eternal.

Once you have given your life to Jesus and start obeying Him your desires will change and the things that you hold onto tightly right now may loose their grip on you.
We don't have to give up anything to come to Christ, all He wants is for us to hand our life over to Him and then let Him change and heal it.
Having Jesus as my friend is the best thing that ever happened to me!!! Go to my 360 profile and read the story of my spiritual journey, it might give you some more insights.

Come to realize why you want to give your life to Christ. No one says it's easy getting to that point, but a definition of sacrifice is to give up something good for something BETTER! Realize this and you should have no trouble giving up anything for the Lord.

Do you clean your house before your cleaning lady arrives?
Do you go to a hospital for a check-up before going to see your own physician?
Then, just come to Christ as you are.
If there are things in your life that don't belong there, Jesus will reveal them to you and give you the desires to make the changes.

Are the things you do really "anti-Christ?" I think you can really love the things that Christ stood for in life without giving up the things and the people that are really meaningful to you. (Speaking as a recovering Catholic.)

Then give your life to God later when you are too old to do the things you don't feel ready to give up yet...of course there's no God as far as I can see but each to his own.

Are these things that you do harmful to others? If you feel you must join up with a religion to feel comfortable in your own skin and with this world then you are going to have to go ahead and Jump all the way in. Do EVERYTHING they tell you to do and do NOT do anything that they tell you not to. Even if you feel it enriches your life. After all do you really want to soak in a lava filled lake for ever?
