So, why are days still 24 hours long as God created them to be? Why hasn't evolution gone forward and made days 25 or more hours long? Why are weeks still just 7 days and years still 365 days long? If evolution is responsible for time, matter, earth, sun, noon, etc. why are we still in the "God made" 24,7,365 mode? A LONG time ago, were days like thousands of years long? If so, why did time regress rather than progress? If time is regressing, will days become 23 hours long ? Why no progress?

a lot of the things that were written in the bible are nonsense, and the stories in genesis are a good example.
evolution does not deal with physical modification of inert bodies, like the earth, just the way living things modify to adapt and survive better under fixed or changing conditions.
and as a matter of fact, the duration of the day has been changing ever since the earth was created, and is still changing, since the rotation velocity of earth is slowing, but very slowly so.

Didn't you see that Universe is evaluating. Every second it getting bigger and bigger. Not like your God's creation that static.
We have 24 hours a day, because some one long time ago say 24 hr. If he did say 25 hrs a day, of course we have 25 hr a day now.
And remember Human Year is getting longer and longer by every year.

Days and years are an approximation of the time it takes for a certain event to happen (earth rotate on its own axis, earth to orbit the sun).
Asking why they haven't lengthened, you are effectively saying "why hasn't the universe slowed down".
Weeks are an entirely man made concept.
I can't believe someone is dense enough to ask this question seriously, so I'm going to take it as a troll question trying to discredit christians.

You are trying to make us laugh aren't you.
Yeah, God stuck the stars on the bottom side of heaven. Stars can fall to the earth. Angels drag the Sun back to its starting point every night (traveling under the earth). Heaven can be reached by building mud brick towers, and has water above it.
Lets at least try to not make the Christians look like total retards all of the time. Show at least a bit of respect for them buddy.

You don't understand the theory of evolution correctly. It has nothing to do with time, space, or stonehenge ( stone hinge is probabably what kept Fred Flintone from opening his door).
It only deals with changes in living things over time.

The universe is billions of years old. Evolution is not progress. It does not affect the orbital speed of Earth. Check out astronomy, biology, geology, meteorology, and zoology.
You obviously have a lot of catching up to do.
