It's an omnicient being with unlimited powers. How could our lives be all that compelling for it to be involved with? It can create planets and stars and far more interesting and complex life forms, but instead it chooses to concern itself with helping basketball players win the championship and making sure your Uncle John is okay after his gall badder surgery.

Is God's involvement in our lives some kind of game it plays? Or are we really the best thing God has to do with it's time?

My wife seems to think that you are confused about the "meaning of Omnipotent". I, however, agree with you. Who in the hell says "damn, God!" when someone gets food poisoning after a meal. I mean, they prayed over it. They thanked him for it. But still he poisoned it. Why would he do that. "He has a deeper meaning." Right... Whatever makes you sleep at night.

Are you a parent? If so, you would understand the thinking of a parent. A father would rather play catch than do the work that is piled on his desk; a mother would be concerned about the little things in her daughter's life. At the same time both parents would allow a child to "put his finger in a socket" and get a small taste of electricity rather then stop him from learning that it will bit him. That's the idea behind God's involvement in our lives. Even the small things matter to him, just like a good parent's concern.

Being involved in the lives of billions of people is a task bigger than our ability and nearly inconcievable from our perspective, but in the eyes of an infinite being it is infinitely small by comparision.

Perhaps God has other worlds to 'play' with? Worlds that resemble ours in no way... have different parameters... different natural laws... a universe with no concept of linear time... a place unfathomable to us and where our world would be unfathomable to them.

Or maybe he plays Golf... against Abraham... or Moses?

But it is very likely that God is a very accomplished multi-tasker, so he propably does all that and then some!

This is the very reason you must question the Invisible Man's existence.

You could also ponder why a perfect being would need to create anything at all.
If we follow Logic and Reason, when we humans do ANYTHING at all it's because we want some happy as a result - it's a desire thing many of us suffer from. Never happy unless, etc.
Whereas the perfect Invisible Man needed no more than himself to be content UNLESS he's not perefct and THAT puts another slant on all things, starting with how perfetc is he really, doesn't it?
And how many degrees of perfect are there? Isn’t perfection like pregnancy or death – you either are or not – no half measures, unlike Scotch in a bar.

Maybe he’s not quite perfect but he IS all powerful.
Mmm, and just maybe the Invisible Man does not exist.

You would have to ask God because He is the only one who can answer your question.
All we can do is guess.
Why do you believe that God doesn't want to know you? Why are you putting so little value on yourself?
How do you value the people around you?
I value the people around me greatly. I work as a teacher because seeing students learning and reaching their goals brings me joy. I care about my students and want what is best even when I cannot give them the grades they want. I could double my salary by not teaching and going into industry, but a job like that would not make me happy or fulfill me. I would feel like my time was wasted. Since we are made in God's image, maybe that is your answer.
Open up and let people love you. Open up and let God love you.

Sorry, but God is not an it. I really don't think God concerns himself with who wins or loses a ball game. Uncle John, on the other hand, is a human being who does need our prayers for a safe and rapid recovery.
God playing games? I don't think so. Watching us here on earth has got to be a nightmare for Him.

God created us and loves every one of us. He is the one and only Heavenly Father. As an earthly Father I can relate to how He cares for His children, however not on the same level as He cares. His love surpasses all human understanding.

He doesn't fix BB games but He is concerned about the attitudes and actions of the players and coaches and fans.
He certainly does heal those who believe in his power to heal.

EDIT: FOR THOSE WHO PUT THE THUMBS DOWN ON THIS ANSWER - I HAVE PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED GOD'S LOVE AND FORGIVENESS AND HAVE BEEN PHYSICALLY HEALED INSTANTLY BY HIS POWER AND SEEN MANY OTHERS HEALED INSTANTLY AS WELL.
You can choose to reject His love and power if you wish but you are already losing out on the best thing that could ever happen to you and if you reject it all your life and end up in front of Him unforgiven on judgment day you will be the loser.

sweetheart, do you have children, or a mom and dad, who do you love more than anything else in the world? God love us ever so much more than we can even get our minds around. We are part of God, and of each other. Where do you think we get the ability to energize some water and stuff and be like human beings and all? God put part of Himself in us to make us alive. He loves us. It doesn't matter how many times he doesn't exist, or turn our back on His love. Someday you Will know His love. Ppl want to talk about hell this and that. I don't believe God, Who loves us so much will put us in horrible pain. I think we get to feel the pain we have caused others,. I know that would be hell for...say Hitler? what do you think?

Blessed Be

1) Compared to God...We are NOTHING...but TO God...we are everything.
2) We are His children...why wouldn't our lives be compelling to Him?
3) We are the Reason the Earth exists in the first place. It was created for Mankind...IOW Us.

Don't good parents think that their children are worth being involved with?

God's ability to know the whole universe and know about the death of a bird in Cuba is a Godly ability. He can do all at once.

I don't think He fixes BB games but Uncle John He might fix
