What I know I have been learning since 1965 when they came to my mom's door. My mom's friend Harriet would come by and talk to mom and leave magazines. Mom would throw them in the trash. I would take them out and read them. I was impressed being raised Catholic and only going to Latin mass I never learned anything about the bible. And here it was ! It was right in front of me ..wow scriptures and the meaning of them. I was ecstatic. Since I only had an epistle I could only look up Matthew, Mark, Luke and John scriptures.

About 5 years later after I was married and in my own home they knocked on my door. I was busy with 3 babies but listened because I knew it was good. I had overheard my mom and her friend and longed to talk to someone myself. I kept her there 45 minutes and made her promise to come back. My husband and I were baptized in 1972 and have had a wonderful , peaceful feeling ever since.

My mom and dad also dedicated their lives to Jehovah and were baptized right after I was.

This is the truth. They are what you see...good people.
Behind the scenes they are decent and they treat each other with kindness and love.

Time is short now..maybe you would like happiness in your life too. The Spiritual Ark is filling fast...better grab a seat and hang on tight because this world as we know it is in for some very bumpy rides. The judgment is ongoing and the marking work has begun.
Will you be judged a goat or a sheep?
Will you be marked for death ? Do you have the mark of the beast?

This isn't a joke..and time is running out.

I am one of Jehovah's witnesses and I know our way of life is the best one. Of course, many people out their say witnesses are a "cult" and to "stay away from them" etc... etc... But what else would you expect from a world with Satan as it's ruler?(1 John 5:19)(John 15:19) If you really want to know more about the witnesses please visit your local Kingdom Hall and may also look at the site www.watchtower.org. Now, you will see alot of ex jehovah's witnesses online saying this or that but there is a scripture that describes them well.It is at Jude verses 11,12,16,19.

I actually don't know much. I had a pretty good friend who was a Jehovah's Witness, and she always called me a pagan, which I still think is funny. I respect the fact that they are out there knocking on doors, and living what they believe.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

I know enough to say that they're decent people and the only reason that I can find that other people wouldn't like them (based strictly on religious beliefs), is that many other religions are afraid that Jehovah's Witnesses might be totally correct about the bible, and they have no problems showing their enthusiasm towards their beliefs.

I used to be one. I don't know what there is to know about them. They are Christian and believe in the Bible only. They do not believe that Jesus is God. That much I agree with, but their theology is heavy on prophecy being fulfilled by their religion, including future world-changing events in their favour.

Enough to know that if they are correct, then every other professing Christian must be in gross error and in danger of dying at Armageddon (any day now) unless they renounce their denomination as being Satanic, and get baptised as a JW.

But I also know enough about Christ to know that everyone who trusts in HIM (as opposed to an organization) and believes HIM (as opposed to Watchtower Society literature) will be born again of the Holy Spirit and adopted into God's family. The JW religion will tell you that you can hardly dare hope for that, and - anyway - you don't need to be born again. I'm sticking with what Christ said. "You must be born again" (John chapter 3) does not require interpreting. And for it to happen you only need to get down on bended knee to Christ and confess HIS name to be saved (John chapter 6 verses 28-70).
