I mean we know that fire only burns for a second and then you can't feel it. So if a person burns in hell forever, aren't they on fire for God's love and as God is everywhere, maybe that is God's hot spot for love?

There is no hell! Think of it as a state of mind. You can feel hellish at a soul level which then transfers to your outside world. Which then can cause any problem you can think of trauma, disasters, diseases, financial problems, addictions, relationship problems, emotional or mental problems and on and on it goes. Think about what's wrong in your life right now. All these problems affect our soul especially if were all walking around thinking I'm gonna go to hell for that or this. Awaken now ! Our life, and the world is a reflection of our thoughts. We must quit focusing on all the bad. Think about this for a moment Mother Theresa was asked to attend a anti-war rally and , she replied no,but when you have a peace rally I will be there. The more we fight against what we don't want the more we get of what we don't want. Let's all shift our thinking to the positive. You can attain a sense of heaven while your still here on earth. Life is what you make it!! LITERALLY. Don't forget the saying War is Hell. god bless you. Blessings!!!

I don't get the 'on fire for love' part but you make a very convincing argument about what supposedly happens to sinners. I never thought about it that way before. A spirit can't burn forever and be tortured. The fire wouldn't have anything to consume if you are no longer of the flesh so it would go out. It has taken me so long to reverse all my brainwashing, thanks. You are a ray of sunlight.

Wow. Ginger gave an extremely distinctive interpretation of Gehenna & hell-hearth that I even have under no circumstances heard in the previous. there's a feeling of renewal in that. genuinely neat to think of approximately! i think of a place for rehabilitation may well be modern-day in Catholic concept: purgatory, in-between Heaven and Hell. And there are some Christians who certainly do no longer even have self belief in Hell, or maybe Heaven (see Beliefnet chart down interior the components)! yet, I completely agree. God *could* have extra constructive for lost souls than Hell. you will discover, regardless of the undeniable fact that, that some very loving, compassionate Christians nevertheless have self belief that non-Christians are going to Hell. Why? through undeniable fact that's of their conservative Christian custom, and that they do no longer question it through fact it style of feels logical interior the physique of their concept. that's very tragic yet some thing we could consistently settle for, and we nevertheless be conscious of that in the time of spite of this concept, which isn't key of their faith in God yet an element of their interpretation of theology, that they are able to nevertheless be open and loving people. some are inhibited in compassion by using this concept, yet many truly are no longer, as I even have found out from coming to be conscious of a few conservative Christians. they do no longer comprehend once I attempt to describe that Hell does not make experience from a loving God, as they see each little thing by using their common ideals and faith. This used to sadden me, yet now I comprehend it and enable it flow. they are stable hearts, and that's all that concerns. :)

Hell wasnt made for man. it was made for satan and the1/3 of angels that got kicked out of heaven with him.
we chose to go there by not chosing Jesus.
its seperation from God. and its a fire that burns but dose not consume. so if it dose that then the agoney would contenue beacuse nothing is truly burnt, just burning. and the sulfur smell and brimstone.

Why joke about it. really. itmakes me sad.
