If you do, what do you think of this quote about prayer?

"Prayer is the miraj (union with, or annihilation in, the Divine Essence by means of continual upward progress) of the Faithful.

The Lord doth not regard a prayer in which the heart doth not accompany the body.

He whom prayer preventeth not from wrongdoing and evil, increaseth in naught save in remoteness from the Lord.

The key of Paradise is Prayer, and the key of prayer is ablution.

Say your prayers standing; but if you are not able, sitting; and if unable, on your sides."

Did you notice how we (Muslims) pray? We put our forhead non the floor and kneel on four. Did you know that when praying right, seven parts of your body should touch the ground, forehead & nose, twho hands, two knees & two feet. This is the lowest somebody can kneel, and we do it for God. Do you know that in Islam it is forbidden to kneel for anyone but him? We are ready to do whatever to please Allah. Scientists have noticed that prayers (Muslim's prayers) have many benefits, first: you move your body, which is a sort of excercise. Two: when you put your head on the floor, more blood circulates to your brain which many people dont even when you are sleeping you are flat, you need to get your head down to get more blood and oxygen to the blood, ask any doctor if you dont believe me. Three: Also when head is on the floor, it was discovered that negative electric charges get out of the body into the ground. Four: Prayer also makes you disciplined, praying 5 times a day on certain times, it needs great discipline. What do you think?

Yes. Every soul must come to the point where heart and mind are given into The Lord. Extremity teaches it but happy is the soul who finds delight in it from his youth. Prayer might start with self, but compassion and love soon moves it on. May the Prophet, (His Holy Name be Praised) encourage you in all things Holy.

Yes, I pray 5 times a day and I am sad if I must miss a prayer. For me praying is not only way to communicate to God, it's also very therapeutic and relaxing and helps a great deal with stress management.

I do not pray of my own will and desire, the pray has to come from my grieving soul, my spirit, my deepest self.

The reason for that is that the flesh can lie to yourself but your spirit, if you are in sync with God with the Holy Spirit, will claim loud for your true needs.

Other thing is What is not said, is only known to God. But let it be for each one as he or she believes because everybody has a separate, but common relationship with God in the faith of Jesus the Lord.

It is supposed to be an all time affair of us, while still performing our worldly duties, but without attachment to those.

I try doing that.
