we can...but people take their god's so seriously they find it an attack on their person if you joke about it...similar to people being offended by racial jokes...and the like...

We can and should joke with and about God.
God gave us a sense of humor for the exact same reason He gave us a sense of reverence . . . it's to be used to glorify Him.
In a long and checkered life, I've found that the truest loves are those where both parties can respect as well as joke with each other.
If you don't think God has a sense of humor, look at the platypus . . . . :-)

That's what the Catholics are for, when in doubt, they're always the easiest to crack a joke about. If you can't think of a Catholic joke, just drop a Mormon joke in a pinch.. :)

I think we can. After all He's had one on us. Look at us. We are a big joke. We've been here for x million years and still can't break out of our primitive tribalism. It is so sad you have to laugh. We don't learn, we don't agree, we don't use our resources wisely and we don't know where we are going. Isn't that brilliant after thousands of generations?

You can joke about God as much as you like, god does have a sense of humor and you can see it with the Jewish race, he caused them all to follow him as an example for what not the Christians to do as they did.

We can God has sense of Humor. Humor is different from vulgarity so check the line.

I think we can. My god has a sense of humor. I have a hilarious t-shirt that says...WWJD...for a Klondike Bar. My god finds that hysterical.
