I know in every generation people were thinking they were the last generation. But now since Israel is now back in the land(1948) and They have also recaptured Jerusalem, and the United states of Europe was born (1948) and technoligy is increasing, the middle east is on the brink of an all out war or peace(7 years)Because either a faluse peace will come to the middle east soon as the EU, US all the Arab nations are pushing for peace with Israel, or a huge war will erupt between Syria, Israel, Hezbollah, Eygipt, Iran, Russia etc, and it will end with the antichrist coming out and confirming a peace treaty for 7 years as the EU have 7 years terms. Either was we are headed for something big in the near future. I believe Jesus will return in this generation. And Jesus will return soon to get the church. Are you looking forward to that? And are you ready?

How many of you would? I don't think many of you would, accept him and worship him your whole lives like so many of you do, which means the reason why you are doing it, for salvation. And you think Jesus likes suckups more than generally nice decent loving people who do good things out of true love and not just for a reward.

Why is it that so many people think that if you are a muslim, you are an illiterate person who can barely speak or understand english? I've gotten this a lot. My skin is whiter than most, it's obvious I'm American. But I get a lot "What country are you from?" And I just kind of look at them and say "uhh, from here?" I also get this a lot "Wow, for a muslim you speak very good english!" and one of two replies is either "I should, I'm American!" or "What, is a muslim supposed to speak something else?".

Even with muslims the world over, why do these stereotypes still exist? Especially of the women. "Oh, poor uneducated beaten woman. I feel so sorry for you". If it's a woman, I say "ohh, ok, can you show me the bruises on my arms because I can't find them". Or "Uhhh, yeahhh, why are you asking me this in the college classroom we're both in?" I mean, it's just hilarious! The things that we hear, where does this come from?

Scientists (both when being stereotyped and in practise with the jobs they perform) are considered to be some of the smartest people around - doctors, astrophysicists, computer scientists etc.

Being called an 'Einstein' is directly refering to one of the smartest men to have ever lived - of course, he was a scientist.

Is it not worrying that the smartest people, people smarter than the average member of society, are telling you that Creationism is wrong?

People may say "scientists get it wrong sometimes, at one time everyone thought the world was flat", but it was a scientist who predicted the world was round - not a theologean.

I have read in various newspaper articles, that to progress you need to pay to go a different courses. Does this not discriminate against the poorer members of society, who are in the greatest need of spiritual guidance?

I would particularly welcome answers from those already members of this Church.

I've noticed that even the most polite muslims all "would like" the world to be ruled by islam. If a lot of them think like this, don't you think something's up?

It's strange...

The fatal metaphor of progress, which means leaving things behind us, has utterly obscured the real idea of growth, which means leaving things inside us.

Please avoid glib knee jerk responses. Chew on it a while, I'll leave it open a few days. I'd greatly appreciate your slowly mulling it over.

I have choosen the song "Blackness Of The Night" by Cat Stevens and I think it deals with lonliness. Can this be slightly classfied as a humans right or social justice song? If so would I say it is slightly "humans right or social justice song" because it is a feeling that effects alot of us and some can be prevented. Such as the times in war etc. Also does anyone know or can provide sources for me about Cat Stevens opinion on the issue? Here the lyrics if you have not heard the song:
In the blackness of the night
I seem to wander endlessly
with a hope burning out deep inside
I'm a fugitive, community has driven me out
For this bad, bad world I'm beginning to doubt
I'm alone and there is no one by my side

In the blackness of the night
I see a shadow passing by
from the heels of an old soldier boy.
There's no comprimising
and his eyes are black as the sky
For this bad, bad world he is going to die.
He's alone and there is no one by his side

In the blackness of the nigh

What part of "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" don't you people understand? Soon, he awakes from his hibernation. His tentacles twitch in the midst of some dark dream, anticipating the moment. All that remains is for us to call him. How will you be saved once he arises?

Its hard to say if god exists or not if we don't have a clear definition of what you are talking about.

I have been using my Dad's Answers account and when he went to use it , he was quite surprised by all the activity. After a thorough counseling with my dad I have come to the realization that we are all just human and do the best we can. Today I learned a lot from my Dad about treating others with dignity and respect even if you disagree about religious issues. We are mostly Americans here , but more importantly , we are Gods creation. He commands us to "Love one another", "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and even "Love your enemies".

I do not consider the LDS to be my enemy. I had no intention of ever even getting into this nonsensical jousting with you guys. I just happened upon R+S and became entangled in a series of tit for tat arguing which I have since been counseled on by my Dad.

To all who read this, Please accept my humble apology for any bad vibe that you got from my Questions or Answers.

I hope to have a positive and constructive dialog with you in the future. TM jr

I found a site http://www.truthism.com enter and read - all the stuff, after that tell me what you think about it.

I always thought this thing: we live to go to school, get a job, get a wife/man, have kids, die. And this is boring and plain idiotic.
And other things about the Bible it says in a line that only a smart person will understand from it. On this site I don`t think all is true.... normal... lol.... some I find realy pathetic but not cause they talk about alines or the inner sun.

I have a saying why can we bellive in God and not in Aliens? They both are imaginary... and what if God is an alien, cause he is diffrent from us then..... :))) it may sound stupid but yea.. lol tell me what you think
