Friend,
God and Energy......two beautiful, meaning filled words you used knowingly or unknowingly.
Have you read Soundarya lahari authoured by the Great Shankaracharya, the person who ishailed as '' Sankaram Saakskth Sankaram''
The vey first verse starts '' Shiva Saktyaa yukto Bhavati....''
All the meaning of most vedanta is contained in these four words rather.
Shiva ,The God,( not rudra,) is the GOD here,He HIMSELF IS HELPLESS AND CAN NOT MOVE HIS LIMBS EVEN WITHOUT THE SAKTI WITH HIM.THAT IS UNLESS AHAKTI (ENERGY in your language) ACTS Shiva cant do any thing.
What ever you see in the universe is nothing but manifestation of Energy.Think your self.Every thing changes its enegy forms from one form to other. But the energy is same.Law of conservation of Energy applies in our universe.
So God and energy co exist as word and its meanibg.they are inseparable.(Vaagarthaa viva sampruttou.......)As you can't separate mening from word ,so is energy and god.
You please read a god lot of authenticated books.you have plenty of future.God ha diverted your mind toeards this side by the virtues you did in past.
forger Rithiks ans Shobhans..they all perish in time,Stick to HIM.You will get enlightened.
Visit YV street amma vari saala ( Am i corrext or is it some other place) and the beautifuk Saneeswara, shiava temple on Tirumala road,,,,,You have so many placed blessed by noble souls.Visit and get benifited.
So GOD and ENERGY are inseparable.

People in general seem very confused about what energy is. In particular they seem to believe it's some sort of live-giving stuff that can be ordered around by other people. They often equate it with some sort of magic.
But this is just cute nonsense. Energy is not much different from a gas in some ways. In particular, it's very hard to impose structure on energy efficiently - so the idea of a sentient being composed entirely of energy doesn't really wash.
Further, there are only a handful of basic types of energy, and they're all known about if good detail. And none of them is magical.
The only real 'life energy' is adenosine triphosphate.

Energy doesn't have the knowhow to transcend space and time. The only logical agrument one could make along the lines of God=energy is the idea that He created us in His own image. And what are we humans? Energy. But then that argument is counteracted with the knowledge that EVERYTHING in the concievable universe (and possibly a few inconcievable universes as well) is energy, most of which was NOT made in God's own image. :P
EDIT: Goddess of Laundry's answer is a good one. :) *lol*

Actually you are only partially correct. God is everything. Without God we would have nothing and be nothing. Nothing came into exist except for by the Hand of God

OK, and to the joker next to you God is potatos.
It does not realy matter what you claim God is.
God is certainly not simple energy.
G=MC^2 simply means nothing at all.

This world is a Physics book being read aloud. "Every action..." and the only constant is change, etc.
