Why do muslims think that they are going to take over the planet?

I've noticed that even the most polite muslims all "would like" the world to be ruled by islam. If a lot of them think like this, don't you think something's up?

-First of all, do not GENERALIZE all muslims. As you generalize, you discriminate! Besides, MUSLIMS DO NOT HAVE ANY DUTIES TO TAKE OVER THE PLANET. The right thing is this: THE WORLD WILL BE RULED BY ALLAH/GOD/THE ONE LORD. In fact, Allah rules the entire universe for Allah/God created it.

-If a muslim REALLY said that to you, he/she might have another meaning. Because he/she believes in Islam as the truth, he/she would want the world to live and know the truth. That's a character of a CARING and Good person who would want his/her misguided "brothers and sisters" to find the real path which is Islam.

Because they believe Mohammed was the last prophet of God. Therefore they believe the Koran is the last revelation of God. We christians don't believe Mohammed was a prophet of God so don't believe that at all. (He denied Christ died for our sins which is one of the core beliefs of our faith.)

We christians certainly don't believe it is God's will at all that any anti-christian philosphy or religion prevails to the detriment of God's plan. Actually from our point of view God desires everyone to have a chance to believe in Jesus as their saviour. This is an end inhibitted by the spread of Islam (especially when it rules a country politically and laws against other religions are in place to prevent conversions from Islam etc). Therefore the spread of Islam is not God's will. But christians are meant ot use spiritual weapons to overcome. For instance, if you have faith in God's will, you can pray for freedom of religion in all countries, ability of people to hear the gospel and so on, in the name of Jesus, and if there is really faith there, the prayer does get answered.

Actually we have God's promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church. Muslims are not Satan followers or anything, but from a christian view they have been deceived in a very subtle way. But we have to apply our faith so that God's will can be effected.

Muslims are never intended to take over the planet but yes we like to see islam being flourished..but in the sense that muslims would follow it properly in its true sense....that what we mean by "rule of islam' !ofcourse it doesn't mean the conversion of all the planet to islam !

Because they've all been brain washed into thinking the teachings in the koran are the one true way instead of just being a kind of moral guideline. The same way christians behave about the bible. May I take this opportunity to point out to K Assiri that muslims do take death and destruction to other countries. America is largely a christian country and two planes into the World Trade Centre was an outrageous act - how can you say muslims are not bringing violence.

Oh, that's not strictly true! You see, like the rest of us, they like the new medical treatments developed in the West so that when little Mohammed or whoever gets cancer, they can come to us and get it cured! They also love the luxury goods like the 4x4's they can drive through the desert and the 7* hotels they have built in Dubai, but then if you fancy someone else when you are married they'll chop your bloody head off or stone you to death, cos that how it's meant to be!
