Dear Human,

Actually, one awesome aspect of being the Devil is having a Hell where i can throw parties and cocktail evenings on a daily basis. As for God, he attends every Friday, brings a few angels and they party hard! but one thing's for sure; he's got the meaning of life all twisted and confused and tells jokes about it at every poker game!

Stay confused my friend, God likes it.
Regards,
Satan

Your first question has the same logic as asking 'If the Easter Bunny doesn't exist, then why do we ask if he does?'

...or insert any unproven/unproveable belief into that question.

The very fact that we don't know the meaning of life innately, implies:
1) God doesn't have a purpose for us. For the most logical thing for god to do if he/she wants us to know exactly what he/she wants from us (our purpose/meaning), would be to place that information right into our heads, before birth. This method would eliminate the risks of unwise or unscrupulous humans from changing the meaning of gods words, through intentional or unintentional misinterpretations, as the 'word' gets translated from language to language.

One would assume that a god would be smart enough to see this most-logical solution to the problem, and of course, have the power to implement it.

2) or, that god doesn't exist, implying that we have no inherent purpose to our life. For if god doesn't exist, the current best theory, is that we were a happy accident of the universe's development, ...thus coming into existence without any pre-determined purpose.

The concept of god (or God, depending) exists, whether or not there is an actual entity to which that name is appropriately applied.

The questions about the meaning of life are distinct from, but of course related to, questions about the existence of one or more gods and/or goddesses.

We ask if god exists because someone told us he does. We ponder the meaning of life because we are a curious people? It is too easy to read too far into it, I think.

Children at loss with our creator's universal gifts of life do not even know our creator exist?
Expose they were living in misery searching for our creator.
So they keep on knocking.
And we ask them to pray and pray.
Still they don't have the answers.
When they don't have the answers.
Look at the mess they created while searching for our creator out there.
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors
With the blind blindly following the blind living in misery out there.

God does exist. There is no doubt of this. Only those who have not received Jesus as their Lord and Savior, are blinded by their Father, Satan, so that he can lead them to their destruction.

You mean to say, "If god doesn't exist, then why do STUPID people ask if he does?" Well, because they are foolish and misguided. I, myself, do not believe in God, but I do believe in Satan (not like the LaVeyans, but I believe in him as an actual deity). BOOYAH

The famous quote from Voltaire is "If God did not exist it would be necessary to invent Him", magic or coincidence, you decide.

People dont believe it is as simple as it is! And all the messing with what the ancient ones knew has conditioned our minds to question everything!
