"Six days may work be done; but in the seventh [is] the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth [any] work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, [for] a perpetual covenant. It [is] a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."

--Exodus 31:15-17

Do you like the kid's movie fantasia? I never have liked it and my daughter saw it once but hated it. You?

What do you think about the songs "A Rose Is Still A Rose" and Janet Jackson's "What About?" Do they have a spiritual meaning for you or reflect a part of your past?

Who are your favorite regulars?

Do you think Paul the Apostle would be pleased with the Preaching that is in churches today or would he be deeply hurt over how much the gospel has been perverted for itching ears?

We know that all religions are false and whatnot. What I am wondering is, when we find life on another planet/ moon, intelligent or not, the life will have evolved completely different from earthlings.

I see this as "the end of days" for religion.

What do you suppose the religious will do?

In Psalm 135:7 and Job 36:7 the process of water evaporation and rainfall is described.

Ps 135:7 " He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; who makes the lightenings for the rain; who brings foth the wind from his treasuries.

Job 36:27 " For he draws up the drops of the water, they distill rain from the mist.

Outside the bible, man did not know these facts until the basic laws of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and hydrodynamics formulated by a German Scientist in 1888.

It's in Luke 8:11. And the very next verse is about being saved by this word.

People say the Bible is the Word of God, but the Bible as we know it today did not exist when Jesus was speaking. So what was this seed he was speaking about? I doubt very much that he was passing out hand written copies of the old scripture either.

What is this seed that saves?

In todays church society, sin is not a popular thing to be talked about in the pulpit, many believe that preaching about sin angers too many people and causes too many problems.

Are the preachers wrong for preaching about sin, According to the bible they are not. Sin is somthing that is unlearned and it is natural for humanity to exercise but Jesus nailed all sin to the cross that we may be forgiven of them, he payed the price. Sin is a big issue and it is important that we get "THE TRUTH" back into the pulpit.

Could a supreme intelligent being create the fifty billion galaxies each with two hundred billion stars, then rejoice in the smell of a burning goat's flesh?

It just doesnt make any sense to me. You clearly see throughout the book of numbers that god is "pleased" with the aroma of burning animal sacrifices. Why would such a grand being be pleased with something like that?

I am a relatively new Christian, and I just want to understand peoples points of views a little better.

Whith Catholic Traditions like praying to Mary, asking forgiveness from the Priest instead of Jesus, and the standing firm (rigid) with the way one conducts Church activiety/sevices and ceramonies. Can that not be seen as Idolitary? If one did it differentley would that be percieved as wrong?

I dont mean to offened anyone, I just struggled to find scripture supporting the Traditions or the praying to Mary/ The Saints etc.

Forgive me if I have offened, it is not my intention, I would just like to educate myself in the word and find out how one got to go about these things and the reasoning behind it.

God Bless!

My husband encourages me every day to be patient and strong, and to pray. He also tells me to be kind to everybody, even if they don't seem to deserve it. I generally do these things anyway, but sometimes I need a gentle reminder.

Genesis 4:17
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

I have heard that 'God' created her later but then this means that this means explaining:

Genesis 3:20
And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

If she was the mother of all living then she was also the mother of Cain's wife; why is there no previous mention of this wife? Why did Cain have to marry his sister? Couldn't God create another human?

Did you get justice? How would you feel if your life was threatened, and the person who threatened you, who thought they were so smart, got caught by their own stupidity? Would you laugh about it? Would you forgive them? Tell me your story, how do you feel?

Job 28:25 "He imparted weight to the wind and meted out the waters by measure"

The fact that air has weight was not demonstrated until Pascal proved this in 1648.

disapeared from this earth and taken to Heaven, and you know what others have told you about the rapture, and the coming 7 years of tribulation, would you be deceived into worshiping the world dictator or would you ask God in Heaven for help not to? When the antichrist comes out he will force everyone that is left after the rapture to wear the mark of the beast, and without the mark(computor chip that is inserted in your right hand or forhead) you cannot but or sell in the global economy, would you get the mark and be doomed for all eternity, or refuse the mark and give your life to Christ and be willing to die for this. (Absent from the body is present with the Lord) I would like to know which option you would chose.Don't say it will not happen just say it does what will be your desision? LIfe with Jesus and refusing the mark knowing you will not be able to but and sell without it and be willing to be killed for it, or excepting the mark and worship the beast and have an eternity in

Who founded the Catholic Church? Explain.

FIRST - If one contemplates the two thousand years of our exile, take any hundred years even the hardest, one will not find as much suffering, bloodshed, and catastrophes for the People of Israel as in the period of the Zionists. And it is known that most of the suffering of this century was caused by the Zionists as our Rabbis warned us would be the case.

SECOND - It is openly stated in the books written by the founders of Zionism that the means by which they planned to establish a state was by instigating anti-Semitism, and undermining the security of the Jews in all the lands of the world, until they would be forced to flee to their state. And thus they did. They intentionally infuriated the German people and fanned the flames of Nazi hatred, and then helped the Nazis, with trickery and deceit, to take whole Jewish communities off to the concentration camps, and the Zionists themselves admit this. (See books Perfidy, Min Ha Meitsor, etc.). The Zionists continue to practice this strategy today, they incite anti-Semitism and then they present themselves as the "saviors". Here are two replies given by leaders of the Zionists during World War II, when they were asked for money to help ransom Jews from the Nazis. Greenbaum said "One cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Poland." (G-d Forbid). Weitzman said, The most important part of the Jewish people is already in the land (of Israel) and those who are left, are unimportant (May we be spared).

THIRD - We see that most of the world Jewry, lives in security under good physical conditions, and have no desire to go live in the Zionist state. Whereas many people have left the Zionist state to live under better conditions in other lands.

FOURTH - The Zionists make a great deal of propaganda to induce people to immigrate too their state. If their state is so beneficial why do they have to make so much propaganda.

FIFTH - Because nobody wants the Zionists to "Save them". The only way they can get immigrants is by promising poor people material benefits. And even then very few people respond.

SIXTH - The Zionist state is always threatened by the dangers of war. Whereas the rest of world Jewry lives in peace and security. (Except in a few places where the Zionists have undermined their security and fanned the flames of hatred)

SEVENTH - The Zionist state could not continue to exist without economic support from Jews living outside of the Zionist state.

EIGHTH - The Zionist state is on the verge of economic collapse, and their money is nearly worthless.

NINTH - The Zionist state persecutes all Jews who are loyal to their faith.

TENTH - They start wars that endanger the Jewish People, for the sake of their own political interests.

ELEVENTH - According to the Torah the path of safety is following ways of peace not starting fights with other nations, as the Zionists do.

TWELFTH - Even if the Zionists could and would provide physical security it would be at the expense of our Faith and Our Torah. And the true People of Israel prefer death rather than life at such a cost. It is therefore clear that Zionism is not the savior of the people of Israel. Rather it is their greatest misfortune.

What may befall the Jewish inhabitants of Palestine, of the Arab crescent, Europe, or the USA; is of no concern to these Zionist leaders. The rising anti-Semitism in the Western World is the product of their "statesmanship".

Under the guise of "love of Israel", the Zionist "statesmen" seduced many Jews to replace devotion to the Torah and its Sages with devotion to the scoundrel who founded Zionism. It is of no little significance that Herzl originally sought conversion of the Jews as a solution to the problems of the Diaspora. When he realized that this was not acceptable to the Jewish masses, he contrived Zionism as a satisfactory alternative!

Some of the questions and answers using the term Wicca, which the spell-checker capitalizes, seem to suggest that there has been a recent publication which rather defines modern witchcraft or Wicca, or somehow separates Wicca from witchcraft, or something. What is this about? Do I have to go spend good money at a New Age bookstore now in order to refer to myself as Wiccan?

Do the producers of these christian tv shows do this to suspend our disbelief long enough and to make christianity look more credible when put in that context?
