My husband encourages me every day to be patient and strong, and to pray. He also tells me to be kind to everybody, even if they don't seem to deserve it. I generally do these things anyway, but sometimes I need a gentle reminder.

My nana constantly reminds me to take things a minute at a time, and with plenty of patience. We only live once and we should live life to it's fullest. Don't run around frazzled all the time, just relax, and the rest comes naturally. Think positive and good things always seem to happen. I hope this helps, it sure helped me!!!

The advice that my wonderful friends and family, as well as my friends here on Yahoo, that I will inshaAllah always follow is to pray to God, because God never fails to listen to what you say and ask of Him. I also agree with you about persevering and being patient, God mentions that He loves those with a patient and kind heart.

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most merciful.
Sister the best of words is the speech of almighty Allah in the
holy Quran and the best of guidance is that of the prophet
Muhammad [pbuh ]Our creator,Allah the almighty God Knows
whats best for his creation !He the all wise did not leave us to
to our whims and fantasies. If he had done so we would all have been lost in the turmoil of man made doctrines and concepts. But because his mercy encompasses all things God Sent us his divine Guidance The holy Quran and gave us the Religion of Islam which is not limited to the masjids ,
but is a complete way of life.
The best of Guidance is to be found in the book of Allah the
holy Quran and in the teachings of our beloved prophet Muhammad [pbuh ].Any teachings or advice that goes against the guidance of the Quran of the teachings of the prophet Muhammad [pbuh ] is to be rejected .
Allah the almighty gives us a formula for success in a nutshell
in sura Al Asr in the Quran , which means To have faith in the
one God our lord,To do all the recommended good deeds,To
stand for and exhort people to the truth, and to Have patience
and exhort people towards patience.
Sister your husband is definitely advising you towards the great virtues of Islam and one of the Greatest virtues on the
Islamic ladder is Patience and prayer.one can write volumes
on these two very beautiful concepts of Islam.
This life is the test for the hereafter .The prophet of Islam
praised the situation of a believer ,who when he recieves the
bounties of his creator thanks Him and when he is struck with
some calimity he bears with patience ,knowing that His lord
knows what is best for him and this is also a good thing so
a true believer wins both ways.Allah the almighty has adviced
us in the holy quran to seek his help in patience and prayer
and hearts find tranquility in the remembrance of Allah the all
merciful.
Another beautiful virtue is kindness .Islam not only preaches
but makes sure that its followers practice it. our prophet[pbuh ]tells us that this was his main mission, to build the moral
character of the believers. After the worship of Almighty Allah,
God advices us Kindness to our parents and kit and kin as
the next best deed, this incluudes kindness to the neighbours
to the orphans to the poor to the wayfarer and islam makes
sure we demonstrate this in practise because ithese are one
of the criteria for a place in paradise. If one is kind and merciful to others then Allah the almighty God will shower us
with his kindness and forgiveness.
Sister i can assure you that you husband is guiding you towards the path that leads to paradise as our Prophet [pbuh [ tells us 50% of Islam is giving good advice and following it.
We are advised in Islam to do things in moderation and there
will be some days when we find our faith is on a very high level and the next day we come down a few notches but it is
okay and if we are in such a state then we are on the right path.Allah the almighty wants us to do the best we can.
May Allah the almighty Grant you the reward for your patience
and answer your prayers and bless your family and guide us
all to the true path.. ,

My husband's advice. He encourages me every single day to follow my heart, and listen to it for answers. Before we got married, I was a really terrible decision-maker...I don't mean that my decisions were bad, but that I often took a long time to make even the smallest choices. He's helped me a lot in that area.

I follow the advice of my heart in general. This advice is available only when you are yourself in a state of coolmindedness. When I am angry, I abstain from answering and want to stay in loneliness, so that anger can be dissolved. Selection of soft words and escape from war......
Try to call back the words "Invitation to word War". Check the spelling of each word and you will find something totally different, in these four words.

Prayer is compulsory.Even if you,re bedridden. So prayer is the key to sucess in all things in this world and hereafter. The Adzan when you hear it,one of the verse says come to sucess.. come to sucess. To be patient and strong one need to be humble( always say the word be humble,be humble ...) To attain humbleness one need to have enough knowledge of the Tawheed and you will reach the goal of patience and strength. We are only human.God knows .That's where the Koran and the teachings of the Holy Prophet Moahmmad(SAW) comes in.
I am not rich and I am not poor.I am happy for Allah have guided me to him to the path of Jannah. That is the greatest gift of all.Allah have said if you come to me walking I will come to you running.

My parents ultimately....they always give me lessons about life, how to treat other people who's less fortunate, how to treat other people who's treating us bad, just how to live life according to AlQuran and hadits..
And also my best friends around me, they give me advice on things that i could never tell my parents...love, college studies, etc. Without my support group (parents and friends), i would never become who i am today... ^^
hope they all live the best of life just like what they make me feel... ^^

My husband's--he's my best friend, the one who knows me better than I know myself sometimes. He always has my best interests at heart and he ALWAYS has my back.

And then of course I try to follow Jesus Christ and what he would really expect out of me.
