I think humans have 'gone awry' and left God, for the most part, even though He is present. God is definitely not the cause for blame.

However, there is no question that in some ways God does not dwell on earth with sinful people (or sinful churches for that matter). So you are correct if you stated that in reaction to human sin and by those who don't want Him, God has withdrawn in some capacities (to heaven). This is something often that a lot of christians just don't get--that in SOME ways--God HAS withdrawn from this planet. (Usually because for the last 30 years preachers have way overdone the fact that God is personal).

This is not exactly a simple answer type of question. It's a bit more involved than that.

Have you read the comic strips of 'The Far Side'? It shows God as a child. He knocked over his science experiment, and all these naked humans are running loose, and he is trying to catch them.
Funny, but wrong. I will accept it for humor value.
The opposite is true. WE have left the building. Basically God put a voting booth in the Garden of Eden.
Vote for God: Live in ignorant bliss, and depend on him only. Immortality. Perfect harmony.
Vote for ourselves: The tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. We figure it out ourselves because we don't need God.
We voted God OUT
We have been suffering ever since.
So we are turning to the God of science to mend our broken ways.
It only makes matters worse.

Basically yeah.

Do remember God had the option to burn the experiment, to destroy the organism he created and didn't.

So, the experiment is still in progress and God has left things up to man.

And when man destroys himself and his planet God is supposed to return and pick and choose from the survivors based on a criteria.

Those who are acceptable stay with God, those who don't stay on the Earth they have ruined.

There were alot of "explosions?" going on underground in America one time.
Way after the contract to stop underground nuclear explosions.
I think they were caused by conventional means (dynomite)---the People in the town and surronding parts could't figure it out either.
Sorry, can't remembe just exactly where, near a mountain chain I think.
Ditto..............Sorry, didin't see the word (GOD) in you Question when I answered.

note--GOD was actually Kicked Out of Planet Earth about 6,000 years ago (LEGALLY) by Adam.
Gotta Wait till the Contract with Mankind is up untill GOD can LEGALLY come back and what HE wants to do (Take Over).
Don't worry, HE is a Loving GOD Too.
HE is the OPPOSITE of all of the HELL you see on the Earth Today caused by Rebelling HUMAN BEINGS and of course, satan and his angels.
Ditto...............

No.

When things seems to be going badly, I think it is always a useful mental exercise to consider how badly things could be. Once you can appreciate how bad things can really be, almost everything in life becomes enjoyable.
