They made a choice to believe in a religion...
that CAN'T prove their false promises, lies and deceptions.

Can a belief in a religion take away God's gift: Free - Will ?

Free - Will is what separate Humanity from the other lifeforms on Earth...
without Free - Will, then you're just one of the other lifeforms, right???

What is your purpose in heaven. If you think life doesn't have a purpose without it, what is the great thing you would do there. Seems to me there isn't any.

I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person....my personality is anti-establishment by nature. Organized religion in my opinion is the only major obstacle people have in getting to know god.

It seems to me, that so many people have used the bible as an excuse to do everything that the bible tells them not to do. Alot of people consider the bible to be "the word of god", when in all reality it was written by humans.

How can so many people put so much faith into a religious doctrine, and consider it to be "god's word", without knowing the true origin and purpose of it's creation ? Alot of people think the bible is a single book, when in reality it is many many books with exerpts that were "cherry-picked" from different books from different religions (judaism - tora), from different time periods BC and AD...translated, revised, retranslated, revised and retranslated over and over again.

hey dears,

I was wondering a lot about your porpuse in life and how much not fair it is...

what I mean is that in your case..what's the good for being or achieving to be the best in everything in your self like in your morals or performance...??!

i don't think that if I personally had your same believes ...i would achieve to be a good person ...cause it's useless somehow...!
for example..if I had a twin sis that is really bad and doesn't think for what she is doing ..and in the other hand ..there's me who is trying to be good and not to go to the same bad road...though my sis is always the winner and she lies and do many things to make me feel and look like im the bad one in other ppl eyes like my family members...

so nothing really stopped me from being the same person as my sis but god...cause i feared god and I knew that i would have the reward from him or it would be not fair at all...!

so what's the good for being or achieving to be the best in everything for you?

Do you think all religious beliefs are equally valid and equally true?. Do you think It would be judgmental to assert one religious expression over another?

If you do believe this, then how would one know GOD if he is equal in all beliefs? this tolerance would be nothing but meaningless and empty faith. This is what a One World Government would be about. If you think the world should be tolerant of all faiths and practices, are you worried that you are perpetuating a One World Government to come to power?

I was reading the answers to a previous question and a lot of them quoted the scripture from leviticus

Leviticus 19:28) Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Well it's funny cause the very next chapter says that if you talk back to your parents, work on the sabbath, commit adultery, use god's name in vain..etc etc that you should be stoned to death.

Nice way to pick and choose huh? Do the people who told the questioner that they shouldnt do it in regards to the aforementioned leviticus scripture really believe that those that work on the sabbath should be stoned to death also? Or was it one of those *I* think its wrong so I'm going to find scripture to back it up?

I know the answer of course. But just like the stables that were uncovered that could house 500 horses, 8 spoked wheels that were only used in the dynasty around 1400 BC have been found. Doubters always said there was no proof of so many chariots and horses as the biblical claim. First the stables....now the wheels. I Love archaeology!

One of the most famous stories of the Bible is God's parting of the Red Sea to save the Israelites from the Egyptian army and the subsequent drowning of soldiers and horses in hot pursuit.

But is there evidence that such an event did in fact happen – and if so, precisely where did it take place?
The issue is surfacing some 3,500 years after the event is said to have taken place with reports of Egyptian chariot wheels found in the Red Sea, photographs to document it and new books by scientists that could lead to a whole remapping of the Exodus route and a fresh look at ancient biblical accounts. http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33168

What does an upside-down pentagram really mean? I know the common idea is that it's a satanic symbol, but a pentagram means that it relates to paganism and pagans don't believe in Satan. (Satanism is really an upside-down cross). If you put a normal religious symbol upside down it means that it's anti that. So, what would be the religion that's the opposite of a pagan?

I had asked the question >>> "Is there a single word that can apply to ALL TRUE CHRISTIANS ?" and so many answers was the word LOVE.

What is LOVE ? How do you define LOVE ? What EXACTLY is LOVE for a Christian ?

Maybe a definition of what LOVE is NOT would also help.
