Religion and spirituality should related to all sections. Religion should answer all aspect of human life. Should it not cover all, it shouldn't be called a religion.

Well if some religious people would stop spreading false information and asking idiotic questions about it, sceintifically minded people wouldnt need to come here to attempt to educate them. For me that is my goal, to try and get people to understand and dispell their misconceptions. I cant even count how many times someone has asked on this category "If man came from monkeys/apes then why are there still monkeys/apes?" Since I am a daughter of science logic and knowledge I cant let that pass I HAVE to try and explain the facts and help people understand... Ignorance is the only evil in this world as far as I am concerned so I fight it every step of the way in whatever way I can. Also this category is not for religious people only.. I know you are used to having your little club of "we go to heaven you go to hell and youre not included" but this forum is for anyone religious or not that has questions relevant to religion and spirituality.. if religious people would stop dragging science into their religion because they feel threatened there wouldnt be a problem. You are absolutely right that science and religion are seperate, but religion keeps trying to make a point that evolution is somehow a heathen religion created by atheists to discredit their beliefs.... So until religious believers stop dragging science into the mix, we will always be here to defend science and dispell the untruths which are spread, and the ignorance which runs rampant.

there's somewhat indoors the controversy board decrease than the heading of atheists and that they opt for some suggestions to questions approximately evolution and how specific subject concerns must be popular. the physique may well be stepped forward even nevertheless the spirit and strategies-set of guy desires some artwork it extremely is the region spirituality is provided in. spirituality is the significant now no longer inevitably faith as they good understand there's a brilliant difference. athiests ask questions as they have similiar techniques in spite of the fact that it particularly is now no longer considered what the two have in customer-friendly as there is too a lot attempt epended on no bear in techniques if or now no longer God is actual and not sufficient on asking if their techniques in process distinctive individuals are extremely and to coach the terminology Human and make it stick so then as rapidly as all labels are bumped off it is going to probable be human beings asking questions.

You wrote: "The bible talks about gays or homosexuality so, that is within this section."
News flash: The Bible also talks about creation, how life and the universe began, so why isn't that also within the R&S section?
Most of us get very worried when fundamentalists of any religion, whether Taliban or Christian, lobby to have their religious beliefs taught to our children in the public school system.

If christians and creationists would stay in their churches and keep out of our schools, perhaps we would.
If you want to believe in stupid self-contradictory nonsense, I don't care. If you want to legislate that the stupid self-contradictory nonsense be taught to kids who don't know any better as if it is possibly true then I object.
I'd say that you should get a grip but unfortunately christianity already has a stranglehold on this country (the US). Christians have always held the Presidency, have always had a majority in both Houses of Congress and the Supreme Court, and have always had a majority in every state legislature. The only deviation from this is that there have been 23 jewish governors - that's 23 total in all states in all history.

Because US Christians are trying to replace science with religion in schools, thus making it a religious issue.

Believe me, we would LOVE to keep science to science, but unfortunately, believers keep MAKING science a religious issue. When they try to insist that their religious dogma be taught in our nations science classrooms, when they hold up progress in medicine that could save millions of lives because it doesn't gel with their religion, when people try to deny our nations youth education about how to protect themselves from pregnancy and disease, and deny them access to protection (because they're under the illusion that teaching "abstinence" works), and when religious fundamentalists build a disgusting contribution to the dumbing down of America like the "creation museum", then it forces us to talk about it in a religious context. If religion would keep it's nose out of science, then you wouldn't see it discussed here.

If you would prefer not to hear about evolution here, why don't you ask the other creationists why they persist in posting questions to try and discredit evolution theory on the Religion and Spirituality forum?

Why do believers go into the science and math section and answer science questions with the phrase "God did it?" I've seen that happen too many times to feel sorry about posting answers here.
