Well, as time is not linear, but dimensional (like the spacial dimensions) I dont' think you could go "back" in time. That seems to be a rather linear thought of something that is not linear. As far as traveling to different "locations" in time, I believe that is possible....but again, highly improbable.

Not unless you've found a way to do as Stephen Hawking and Kip Thorne have suggested, which involves harnessing the total power output of the sun for about 10,000 years.
Even then, you only get about a nanosecond of temporal displacement.

I would say prove it. Thoretically it is possible to travel forward in time but I have never seen any claim that you can travel back. Traveling forward, after you overcame massive obstacles, would be a oneway trip.
