What do you think our religion of Islam says about this?

"Verily, god is mild, and is fond of mildness, and he giveth to the mild what he doth not to the harsh.

Whoever hath been given gentleness hath been given a good portion, in this world and the next.

God is gentle and loveth gentleness.

Verily you have two qualities which God and His Messenger love - fortitude and gentleness."

To Tash, don't even pay it any attention. Think of it as a barking dog. When it gets tired, it will quiet down eventually. Me, I've been through worse. This is a cakewalk. But I forgive her. I want to make that clear. While I am pressing charges and working with authorities due to her recent attempts, I still forgive. I am acting on it for the sake of other innocent women of the future who she will stalk.

I strongly disagree what eldad9 is trying to portray about our GOD "ALLAH". Hey eldad9, u have done good research but have you ever tried to think that these ayahs were said in which scenario. Please don't try to mis-lead others. When GOD says that you will be put in fire, it means that don't hurt others, be gentle, don't lie, don't do adultery, do not drink etc etc. otherwise you will face the consequences. Though I am not a preacher nor a fundamentalist but a strong believer of ALLAH and Mohammed (PBUH).

Islam comes from the word salam which means peace. Islam itself is gentle. It will of course teach its believers to be gentle too.

In Islam, you have to be gentle. This is one of the main characteristics of the prophet (PBUH). Being gentle to people and yourself is being a true Muslim. Read the stories of PBUH and you'll know what I mean.

Yes I'm a gentle person. I wouldn't hurt anyone unless my little sister, brother, and my husband's family were in danger. Other then that I'm a gentle person.
