Humans created time, based on death ultimately. Because of the knowledge that we will die someday, time has become of the utmost importance in our lives. Consider if we were immortal. What would time mean then? Time has always existed, but humans were the first to start counting.

God did not create 'time', any more than Issac Newton invent 'gravity'. Time is a function of existence, since it is the measurement of change (not death, as some people have said, although change can encompass death) which means that God did not so much 'invent' time as realize how integral a function it was to its being: the old 'tree falls in the woods' scenario.
God can become 'ignorant' of time (just as we can) but God cannot make or unmake it.

Time was created by man, not by God. I believe it first began with just following the cycles of nature (the moon, seasons, star patterns, etc...). And then it just became more sophisticated "with time" (if you can allow me to use that expression!). Now, we can measure time to the nanoseconds with digital technology.
But in the spiritual realm time as we know it doesn't exist--everything is present...in the now. Think it and it will be. On the spirit side, time is merely change. That is, change in the innate knowing whithin an individual spirit.
I know this is deep, but it is true.

Time was not "invented" as it does not really exist. It is a purely human mechanism for managing our lives.Outside the human framework all other organisms live "now" there is no yesterday or tomorrow in their consciousness. Of course they learn things and use that knowledge at a later date, but don't confuse that with having a concept of time. for god well just prove more and more the unlikeliness of a god excising. good question.

Time is the measure of the distance between events. Time is necessary for us to orient ourselves with these events such as sleeping, growing up, living a schedule of some sort during the week, months etc, so to God there is no time even now - he tells us that to him a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day.
So time is relative. To illustrate this imagine you are four. he time taken to reach the age of five is twenty per cent of your life. But when you are fifty, one year is only 2 per cent of your life so it appears to pass much more quickly. Just as eternity is timeless, so heaven is timeless. Jesus said the children were closer to the kingdom of heaven than adults. Little children have no concept of time in the way adults have. So time was this measurement given to us during our earth lives to help us live. Does this help?

That's going waaay beyond human comprehension. Time is in our reality only because we die. Without time we would have no death because we would not age. I'm not sure how God came to be, maybe He was just always there but all I can tell you is that God is infinite and can create anything your heart desires.

Time, as we know it, does not exist. That is what "Alpha" and "Omega" means...the "Beginning" and "Ending" are the same. This is how the truth of us remains as created.

Everthing flows out from God. Like the apex of a pyramid. So linear time as we feel is both past / present and future for God.

well i agree with you thats why im atheist. the more you think about it the more it makes sense that we had to have come from some other place not an unwordly being that created us out of thin air!!! creating stuff would be considered alchemy and the laws of alchemy state that to make something something of equal of exsistance must be lost. so if god did create time what did he use? anwer that world!!!

For us time is a line. But for God isn't. It's actually easy to picture this. Imagine time travels. I don't say it's going to be anytime soon. But someday we'll travel through time, right? Well, you see, the leading thought for time traveling is that time is NOT LINEAR. So, God is not moving linear in time and it was possible for Him to be before and after time.
