This one always puzzles me also, along with many other Christians I speak to, and know well. God clearly tells us first off we are to tell the world about Him, everyone, because HE loves them and so do we. He wants us ALL saved. And, He tells us to do that without fear, without compromis, and just tell them. Some will reject and some will accept Jesus. That is NOT our concern. Our job is to live truth and speak it, and let the Holy SPirit do the convincting. WE speak because God loves them and we love them as He does. God gives us much warning about how to be saved, how to avoid the pitfalls of the devil, and its all there for us. BUt, many dont want to know it, and will be lost. God says the devil has given them a rebellious spirit even if they arent aware of God or the devil. WE serve one master, either it is God or the devil. Nothing comes from happenstance. SO if we wont hear God, we are already hearing what the devil says and open rebellion towards God will cause us to be lost. So, do we remain silent and not try to warn them? NO, WE do what God says, to tell them, love them, warn them, etc. ITs all from love. LNoone is trying to judge them, only lead them to God and His truths and His incredi ble love , mercy and grace.
You are correct. The WORD is active, as Jesus is a living, almighty GOD. He is not still a dead Jesus laying upon that cross. He arose from the dead, and because He lived and died and rose again, we too may live life eternal.
Even more on this judging thing...... First off, instead of you that dont believe becoming angry at us, if you think we are just silly, just move on and forgive us, we wouldnt tell you if we didnt love you. So if you think its silliness, dont get mad, know only that we do care, and so does God.
NExt. this is a big one to me. Many Christians , even in the church do not want anyone correcting them, and will not grow or learn in the word of God. God tells us we are to love rebuke, and be like Jesus. We should be wanting to learn more and grow me like Jesus every day. And we arent to just toss out what others tell us. Be willing to check out what ppl say and see if it is what God says, to love rebuke and correction, as that is how we grow and learn. Its like a rebellious little kid, if they wont allow the parents to dicipline them, they are headed for trouble, big time, and noone can prevent it until they will listen to truth. Not every little kid eventually grows up and matures. YOu can still see a 60 yr old person just as immature as they were at 11. We must be willing to grow and learn, and accept new truths, but checking out all things against the word of God. When a so called Christian will not accept rebuke, they are not living out the word of God. We are to hear it, and examine it and see if there is truth to it. I recently was made aware of the depth of this, even amongst so called best ffriends, as my close friend deceided to live with her boyfriend. and they are suppposed Christians, No, we are to love them and forgive them, but speak truth to them. These ppl know the word of God, but were very angry at me for speaking truth to them. Truly has ruined the friendship. Yet, God tells me I am to do that, at all costs. They know it is wrong too, but dont want to hear me or God now, as it doesnt fit with what THEY want. ITs not about what we want, Its only about GOd. They would not receive correction. So how is that being a folllower of JEsus Chrsit? Jesus obeyed the Father at all times, and that is how He reached perfection. obedience leads to blessing and disobedience leads to curse. Now, we see this couple doing other things they would not have done years ago. Sin leads to sin, curse to curse. Unless it is stopped, it will continue. But the power of God can remove any curse, but one must hear , accept and obey correction.
When we dont, sorry folks, but we cannot call ourselves Christian. We may not be perfect yet, but we should be striving to be more like Jesus every single day, and not settling for less, tho loving God and being happy where we are, just knowing He is sending MORE> GOD IS A GOOD GOD> amen. always love your questions, you make us thin, and that is always all GOOD man.

Noota Oolah said it very well. And I agree with her - I think that we need to temper what we say with HOW we say it. For instance, if someone asks, the question, "Am I going to hell" - Sure we can find scriptures to support this stance, which only proves that there are scriptures to support this. If the person doesn't consider the Bible a factual resource, quoting the scripture may not be effective, because they don't believe the validity of the source. (Kind of like hearing answers from two different people, one you might believe because you trust the source and the other you might not believe because you don't trust the source).

Read 1 Corinthians 5: 12-13
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you"
What Paul is saying here is, if those brothers and sisters that are part of the church of believers and claim Christ are in the sin of some kind whether adultery or fornication, we should rebuke them ( in love). Paul is saying yes, we are to judge those within the church. But, the people that do not even know Christ, we are to tell them about the salvation of Christ, tell them the good news. We are not to judge non-believers of the sins the are taking part of. They are lost in their sin, they are asleep. We didn't know any better either before we know Christ.
Preach the love of Christ to the lost. Christ will deal with their heart. He will show them their sin. A lot of times if you go around judging the lost who are in sin it turns them off to Christ. They don't know Christ. All they see is some self-righteous high and mighty person pointing the finger at them.

As you said, the Word of God is a double edged sword! This sword pierces through all the lies and sheds light on the darkness.

Well, Christians are judgemental!
I'm Hindu......We Hindus never try to convert anyone to Hinduism.....but all my Christian friends Try to convert me!
They tell me I'm going to Hell on judgement day when Christ comes to take all Christians away with him to Heaven and leave us non-Christians/ sinners behind.
In Hinduism we have similar beliefs. That, on judgement day God ( Vishnu ) comes to earth and takes away all Sinners by creating a big Storm/Flood like a tsunami!!
I wonder how many Christians actually go to confession??
In Christianity it seems one can commit ANY Crime and go to confession and confess it and be abolished from the Evil they committed!! And yet Christ will come and take you with him on judgement day no matter your sins!!
Isn't it better to live a true and crime-free, conscientious life, rather then commit crimes that Christ is going to keep abolishing?
Where's the truth in living a Conscientious life in that??
Also, Every Human has 10 fingers that aren't even of equal size! So, why is it so difficult for Christians to respect other religions and not be judgemental and force their religion on Others?? Your own fingers aren't aligned !! God was trying to tell us humans something by creating us this way! There are other Gods/beliefs, other then Christianity!
Why is there a need for them to tell Others that they aren't True or Pure unless they become Christians??
So Yes, Christians I've come across Do Not Know How to RESPECT other religions or beliefs and they are VERY JUDGEMENTAL!!
Unfortunately, you don't get to pick your friends! You accept them, whatever shape or size and ideas they come with!
Without being judgemental I've learnt to be a Good True Friend to All my friends, eventhough they tell me I'm going to Hell when the time comes!!
None of them has ever told me They'll pray for Me, as I have constantly prayed for them whenever they are in Very bad situations!!
They are still my friends......with all their ignorance!

They can be very judgemental! Always preacghin to someone of what the bible says. They can even know that the person they are talking to is NOT a christian and they still have to preach to them! A person who is not a christian don't want to hear about beliefs that they don't believe in.
