Acts 2:44-46 clearly states that the earliest church gathered their possessions and redistributed as men had need. So why do so many Christians have this “every man for himself” mentality trying to gain more wealth?

And for those who think socialism and communism are the same… they’re not!

I am a muslim girl born and raised in a muslim society where Islamic relegion was taught to us in school since the very early stages. Recently I took an Islamic culture in my uni with an amazing professor who studied in the U.K. . The more I listen to him the more I realise how amazing our relegion is and how my school teachers taught a lot of wrong things about Islam, things that I took for granted and things that I beleived to be part of my relegion even if I wasn't too convinced about. And now comes this professor who changes my whole outlook on my own relegion!!! I am still in shock right now. I have learned that black magic doesn't even exist, Jin can not go inside u, it is not a sin if u had male friends, we are not supposed to walk around lowering our eyes because we should "ghad al bassar". I used to think that only terrorists are spreading misconceptions about Islam when most of us are doing so without even realising it.
So my question to u is: are u sure that what the peopl

here to some of the questions they ask? It seems some people are so naive to the reality that they are most likely not going to get the responses to their questions they are looking for. LOL...I turn my head after I ask some of my questions. Sometimes I wait until the experation of the time for me to pick a best anser to look at the answers to some of my questions. I accept the fact that most of the questions I ask are gonna produce negative results. I have gotten violation notices for giving correct answers somtimes. The game goes on for it is all a game in the Religion and Spiritual questions and answers.

Do you think if you acknowledge evil in the world that you are contributing to it's power? Is knowing it exists different then contributing to it's strength by watching evil movies and even the news sometimes? I have a friend, who's excuse for enjoying evil concepts is simply that evil is everywhere in the world, and I'm trying to teach him that I'm not sure it's good to contribute to the power of it. Maybe if everyone stopped seeing it, it wouldn't be sooo powerful??? Someone, smarter then me, please help me with the answer. Thanks!!!

THE 5th PRINCIPLE

"Just for today, I will not worry.
Just for today, I will not be angry.
Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings.
Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing"

I went into my garden,
And I picked rose.
No one else laid claim,
So it's yours I suppose.
For this rose is special,
I'd say rather unique.
See it changes it color,
Everytime somone speaks.
This rose never dies,
Nor do it's petals fall.
It changes it's shade,
To remind us all.
That we too are different,
Yet we came from One.
So Great and So loving,
He gave us His Son.
I think I'll call this Rose, Jesus!

how do we know time is not an illusion, and every time we die we are reincarnated and live through an exact replica of our lives, making the same stupid mistakes again with no hope of ever changing our destiny. AHHHHHH....

PS would this be better or worse than calvinism?

If you know you will marry the person and there is no difference in your spirtual and emotional relationship before marriage and after marriage... what is wrong with premartial sex in christianity? For example, say a couple met each other and one year later they get married. They've kept their virginity til their wedding day. The 2nd couple were together for 5 years. They know each other spritually and emotionally far more than the other couple and they lost their virginity in their 4th year of the relationship. They know they will get married in 2 years... Does that signed paper make it all the more different?

You may say that they don't know if they will be together in 2 years... well how do you know that the first couple won't get in a divorce? It doesn't make sense to me... someone with the Christian backgrond please explain...

No matter our philosophy, spirituality, political viewpoint, geographical location or financial wherewithal? Does our fledgling species test well in the human experiment, on this egg floating in space most of us one day hope to hatch from? Would our deeds speak well of our beings if the sun descended for the final time the seventh day, seventh month, and seventh year?
