No. If that happened there'd be about ten people left in every parish.

No. They should be forgiven. Which is why Jesus gave us the wonderful Sacrament of Reconciliation (formerly known as the Sacrament of Confession).
The Bible says that excommunication is a last resort for those who obstinately refuse to repent of serious public sin. Sinners who repent and confess are always forgiven, and that is what God's Church calls sinners to do.

Pagreen what a saucy question!!!! The bible tells blokes to marry their virgins. Which I hope they do. You need to find out a bit more about perfection I think.
Errrrrm by the way the Body of Christ isn't any organisation, it's built by Christ and doesn't have anything to do with buildings or sects. Once salvation is gained it can't be lost. So the answer is no and if the bible says it's wrong then we just have to repent to Jesus and change our behaviour.

What did Jesus do?
Remember when the people brought the woman caught in adultery to Jesus. (The punishment at the time was death by stoning.) Jesus said 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone'.
None of us are perfect, so we have no right to judge anyone else.
Jesus said to the woman, 'go and sin no more'. Perhaps we should do the same.
God gave us 10 commandments, not just 1. How should / do we react to christian thieves or christians who do not respect their parents?

No. This is how religion is used to strike fear into people and keep them under control, which I think is wrong (even if the excommunicating person/being has the power to make the wind blow or throw lightning bolts around.)

They should be confronted with their sin and given a chance for repentence. If they refuse to leave their sinful lifestyle then yes. All of this is standard biblical practice that has been left by the wayside and is one of the reasons the church today has so many problems within the body itself.
If later they repent and return then they should be forgiven and accepted back into the body once again. This is called restoration.

The proper wording of this question would be, "Should Catholics who have pre-marital sex be excommunicated?". Christians do not and never have excommunicated anyone. The Catholic church feels like it is entitled to kick people out if they don't like what they do.

Christians do not excommunicate. This is Catholic, if that is what they believe then they should live by their word and not be hypocrites.

No, that wouldn't be very "Christian," excommunicating them, that is. We all sin. Not that having sex before marriage is a sin; I don't think it is. I think adultery is though.

What is wrong with sex before marriage? If Adam and Eve did not do it you would not be here.
