Just think: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Wow I serve a God that created me and died for me. My God knows what it is like to suffer on this cursed earth and what were are going through. This is true love. Thank you Thank You Thank You Lord JESUS!!!! I have been delivered from my sins. I repented (which means turned from) my sins and surrendered my entire life to Jesus. Jesus is now the center of my being. This is the least I can do (give HIM my life) because I was bought at a price. Jesus took my punishment (which I deserve death for) so I can have eternal life. Do you know Him? Do you really know Jesus? Is Jesus really Lord of your life? Check out my profile if you would like to find Jesus.

Why do some woman go back to husbands who beat them, time and time again.
Woman who have their teeth knocked out, jaw
broke left black and blue. They phone the police and get the brute charged, then after a week or two drop the charges.
Then tell their friends, he did not mean it he loves me, it will never happen again and the woman with stiches in her head believes it.
What would you do if your husband hit you?
would you forgive him.

It is told that there is only one god and god is eternal. how come each religion mentions a particular god. If god is eternal there cannot be different gods

Suggested dates for the writing of the Gospel of Matthew range from as early as A.D. 40 to as late as A.D. 140. This wide range of dates from scholars indicates the subjective nature of the dating process.

Professor Helmut Koester of Harvard University has suggested that the collection of sayings in the Gospel of Thomas, although compiled c. 140, may include some traditions even older than the gospels of the New Testament, "possibly as early as the second half of the first century" (50-100)--as early as, or earlier, than Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John.

So you see, some biblical scholars claim that the Gospel of Thomas Actually PREDATES Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John.

"I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good... Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a Biblical duty, we are called by God, to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism." --foundamentalist Randall Terry, Founder of Operation Rescue, in a speech quoted by the conservative News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

That in order to get to the 3rd rung of heaven in the mormon religion the husband has to ask you to go? If he doesn't guess where you're stuck at rung 2 for eternity. I'm going to go NBC on you "The More You Know" The more you learn about you're cult.

This is a matter of intellectual honesty. Let me put my thoughts across. I am an agnostic. This means I basically admit to not knowing whether or not God exists--I'm even inclined to believe it is impossible to 'prove' or 'disprove' God, though I am open to the possibility. Basically what my question comes down to is this: do you, as a Christian, accept the possibility that you may be wrong? That everything you're basing your life on may be based around a delusion? Do you accept the possibility that it could've been entirely conceived and created by human beings and their ignorance and search for explanation?

If your answer is no, then I cannot believe you are being honest with me, or yourself. Even if I were to have a personal experience, like see Jesus for example appear in my room, bright light and all--I would still have to admit, I could be delusional. It could be psychological phenomenon based on my preconceived notions of God. I certainly would not accept it as proof of God.

cause the originators are dead, did the founding fathers do this or that? they may have signed the constitution, they may not have who knows? they're dead, and perhaps never having had ever lived at all anyways, so i'll ask you again, what would it take to make you understand 'what is history'?
