That did just happen to me...My son has decided to take up his old life and that life does NOT include GOD...He doesn't have to tell me anything...I know....and I am not going to do anything...He's a man, and its his choice...

Can't fathom the question. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Y'all ain't been raised right. I once heard a Catholic priest on the radio talking about parenting; and knowing that Catholic priests don't marry, I was about to shut the radio off or turn channels.
But this man had run an orphanage on the south side of Chicago for 30 years, and he was spellbinding in conversation. He said "you give me a newborn baby until he is 7 years old, and then take him/her back into a horrible environment where Mom is a crack whore and Dad is a pimp drug dealer; and that child may have a wild time in teenage or young adult years, but by the time they're 24, 25, 26, they are going to straighten out and do what is right. Why?
Because their character is fully formed by the age of 7. They know right and wrong; I will teach them there is a God and how much God loves them."
This Catholic priest said he could give you names of lots of children that similar things as mentioned above had actually happened to.
I believe him. Not once during my childrens formative years did I NOT pray with them before going to bed at night; we attended church regularly; they know there is a God who loaned them to me for a few short years to love.
My son is now nearly grown; and I'm sure you would say that he has been thoroughly fundie brainwashed, I say he has been raised right. I have no greater joy in life as I get older than to know that my children walk in His Light.
My child, if you are now questioning the very reality of God himself, you weren't raised right, were you? That's OK, it is over now, but you need to find a good Bible based church and grow up in the Lord.
It sounds like you haven't been to church for awhile and don't feel close to God anymore.....Who moved?? Jesus still loves you.
Please, right now, don't wait...get a Bible and start reading the Gospel of John, or comforting Psalm 23, or any favorite scripture you remember. God wants to talk to you and he does this best by his word. Read out loud while you're alone.
He knows your name, Magsli. He sent me just now to tell you He still loves you and misses you.

Once again, although I'm an atheist because my name is Christian I have a right to answer this one. If any one of my family members denounced religious belief I'd say "It's about time Ma, now I can toss this plastic baby Jesus crib you keep clinging on to in the bonfire, HEY! Look at him burn! Da, get us another beer will ya?"

This is a sisuation that you can not really what you will do. Because everyone has the freedom of choice. God even gave us the freedom to believe or not. When some one has ventured down the road of unbelief, they have become disconnected from what was once there confidence. When people can not handle the pressure of life they begin to fall away from what God has from them.

Ask them about their perspective without judgment, with a sincere heart. You know this person. You know they are not "evil." Do some research about their frame of reference. And remember that other people have beliefs (or lack thereof) which may contradict yours, but are every bit as strongly-held.
