Well, we know that time is not an illusion because it happens. There was a yesterday and there was five minutes ago.
And I merely don't believe in reincarnation. I believe in the bible. It is appointed for a man once to die, and then the judgment.

if you believe in reincarnation it is to improve on the mistakes of previous lives, not do the same all over. It is just like school used to be, if you do not pass you have to repeat until you learn.
Guess who is the teacher.

I believe that the answer to your question would have to depend on what kind of religion you believe in, if any. If you're a Christian, then you know that Heaven and Hell await you after death, if you're into Hinduism, you know you'll be reincarnated after death, and etc. For a lack of religion, it's just based on which religion you believe may be true, which it seems in your case.

You can make up anything concerning the afterlife. Why stop at reincarnation in the manner you ask? Let your imagination soar!

We don't, but Einstein and others have shown us that time is like a river that flows in only one direction. It doesn't "back up", if you will. That, and it makes absolutely no logical sense.

All of what we have or think we are is an illusion......the only reality is how we treat others and help later their illusions!

Nothing is better or worse than Calvinism, if you get my drift.
As for your question, get real.

Time is a relative concept.
Thus, anything is possible within a relative concept :)
