Persons like him have more than one a*****.Which one you are talking about?He may not be actually able to save his a** by converting himself in to a born again Christian but if dies with that kind of belief[rightly or wrongly] and feels at peace before his execution ie death,SO BE IT.Any chemical objection?

Yes; if he repents and turns back to God he won't go to hell.
But that's why Catholics believe in Purgatory.
If his repentence is perfect, that is, he really is truly sorry for all the pain he's caused, he'll go to heaven, but if he just wants to save his a** from hell, he's not gonna get off that easily. He's gonna do some TIME first.
