I don't think any single set of beliefs is going to make earthly existance better for everyone.

I think everyone's eartly existance is better if they just follow thier beliefs.

If you believe that there is a God, Heaven and Angels...then it makes our life and our world`s existence better.
How?
"The end justifies the means"
With a promised of... "eternal happiness" living in Heaven with God`s presence...then you should know who God is... to ally with Him ???
God is the Almighty Father, The Creator of everything your eyes set forth with, Who knows all the secrets/science/the truth/the knowledge/mysteries in life, The Holiest (without sin), with unending magical Majestic Power, The All Perfect, The Beginning & The End of everything and our human life... "all" Good, Fair, Justice, Peace, Love, Respect, Support, Joy, in Harmony with everybody and everything.

With all these wonderful news...don`t you think you won`t ally yourself to Him...for support, help, refuge.....and full of "hope".......
...and make your life meaningful and become the witness to everyone...so that you can help everyone attain great: Love, Peace, Respect, Joy, Happiness, etc. etc. etc. (as above mentioned)

I do not believe in believing. That has to be
understood first.
Nobody asks me,'Do you believe in the roseflower?"
There is no need. You can see;the roseflower is there
or is it not there.
Only fictions,not facts,have to believed.
Belief is comfortable,convenient;its dull.It is a kind
of drug;it makes you a zombie.A zombie can be
christian,Hindu,Mohammedan-but they are all
zombies, with different labels. And sometimes they get
fed up with one label,so they changethe
label:HinduDont just
becomes a christian,the christian becomes a Hindu-a
new label,a fresh label, but behind the label the same
belief system.

DESTROY YOUR BELIEFS.

Certainly it will be uncomfortable,inconvenient,but
nothing valuable is ever gained without inconvenience

I'm a Baha'i and I believe these basic principles in a nutshell of Baha'u'llah:
Briefly,
Independent investigation of reality
Humanity is one
Religion must be the source of fellowship and the cause of unity
Equality of men and women
Universal education is essential.
Economic readjustment; elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth
Equal standard of human rights must be recognized and adopted.
Elimination of prejudices of race, nationality, religion, gender, age
Adoption of universal auxiliary language
Harmony of science and religion
Religion is progressive
Do you think these principles uplift humanity and make the world a better place? Are they worthy of our value?

I believe in humanity.

It is my feeling that society should have faith in itself, help itself and each of us within it help each other when needed. I believe we have to move forwards with progress, not revert backwards.

If someone needs a hand, give it to them. If someone needs an ear, be there to listen. When someone needs a morale boost, be that person.

We are not perfect, perfection is an illusion. However, perfection isn't needed to be able to put your hand out for another to grasp.
