Nope. I'd continue to go along as I have been, as a wiccan who believes that IF there is a higher being, it is female. Who else could give birth to the world but a female entity? Now, if the Goddess has something for me to do and wants to come tell me about it, I'll be there for her.
OH, and I don't sin, thank you. I am a good, kind, charitable person who does not turn into some sort of fake nice person on Sunday morning and then practically run people over on the way out of the parking lot after mass.

I believe that all our ideals manifest our reality.

At least in our actions.

That's why I've rejected him. His actions are not going to make us better humans.

Let humanity evolve past god. It's really not the bad/sinning/shockingly selfish thing that we've integrated into our conciousness via religion. Considering the amount of violence and selfishness shown by the God of the old testiment, this has to be our only hope, doesn't it?

That it is within us.
Please consider where I'm coming from when reading this answer. I mean no disrepect.

If I truly believed something, I would go with it.

I've never been prejudiced about what I want or don't want to be. All I have ever asked the Creator of the Universe was for He/She to help me understand and get closer to Him/Her.

If I began to believe Christianity, I would become Christian. If I began to believe Islam, I would become a Muslim. If I began to believe there is really probably nothing out there, I would become an Atheist.

I follow my beliefs... if something new presents itself and my thinking begins to shift, I will follow whatever religion my heart and experiences make me believe.

Well as there are thousands of named deities, none of which I believe in, which you seem to ignore in that question I will answer it as the christian deity. If empirical proof were found today to prove the existence of the christian deity I would acknowledge that it exists as a real entity. I ~would not~ become a christian and worship it.

I am a pacifist, any deity that has to resort to violence to solve its problems will never get my endorsement.

the God of the christains, jews and musilms
has at times required the spilling of blood in his name.
the subjugation of women, the slaughter of millions
unquestioned obedience, the murder of his own son
he has dstroyed the world once by flood and according to
his own word as a gran finale he is planning to destoy it
with fire with all this in mind why would i?sounds more like a God of death and destruction than one of love and forgiveness.i think that i will continue to follow the golden rule and take my chances.

The evidence is in. If you won't believe the self-authenticating God-breathed Word, you will not believe if someone is raised from the dead. Christ is risen, indeed!

Ok, I'll play along.
No. Even if I did become a theist, I wouldn't join any religion.
