I disagree with the quote.
Life is not so simple. There are not clear boundaries between good and evil for most of our actions. And, I have never personally been tempted by 'evil promptings'. Perhaps the author of this passage has, but I think more of humans than to believe that we all have little devils on our shoulders telling us to do nasty things to other people.
Plus- your life is up to you. Not some supernatural imaginary sky-god friend.

You're basically asking what the purpose of morality is. Morality is our personal list of what we think is good and bad. Following these rules helps us live among others. If you are a hermit, you really don't need morality. Nothing you do affects anybody.
God doesn't exist, and religion actually makes you morally lazy. Religion spoon-feeds you an old set of rules and discourages you from listening to the views of others. That list of rules is also impossible to follow. Some prohibit you from even thinking about something, which you can't humanly do. So, you focus on the guilt associated with being humanly fallible instead of stepping back and examining what those rules are.
I personally get more pleasure out of helping people for the right reasons than any promise of help from an imaginary being would give.

When I do something Good, I feel an inner calm, peace and which makes me feel satisfied with my life and makes my thank my Allah(God)
what more could i want?
it is the strong persoality that impels evil. For evil can never be really finished. We just have to keep it fighting n fighting to keep it at bay.

I disagree. There are more motivations that just these two.
Duealism is the bane of modern society. Because there are always alternatives options available - some not as good as others.
What does doing good get me? Permits me to say that I did the best I could with what I had to help others. To me it's more important to do the right thing for the right reasons.

From reading that quote: I have no idea. The older style language is very difficult for me to ascertain its correct meaning both at this time of night (11pm) and in the light of the question.
From my general opinion: Nothing (Yes I said doing good gets you nothing), except perhaps some ease in your transgressions through this life.
Doing good (deeds) is part of the fruit of the redeemed; we should not be looking for what we will get but what we have already been given. So much mercy has been poured on our lives that good deeds should flow naturally, not from some selfish notion of 'what’s in it for me'.

Bad things still happen to good people, but i find it easier to live with myself doing good things. It's my natural inclination, whether it pleases God or not doesn't enter my thinking
