8 Million Russians and Uncountable Millions in Wars all over this Planet? Your so called "prayers" and blind "worship" for this deity of yours has not lessened the problem one bit. Actually, you with your "unfounded" and "blind faith" beliefs have only made matters worse. Take a good look at what the Christians, Muslims and Jews are doing now. I, for one, am convinced, you people will destroy this planet.

Garfieldfan.......you sir, may want to stick with your comic books. It was religion and the hate for other religions that caused 9/11. And yes, everyone dies but do they have to be murdered because of religion? Free will? To do what, murder and maim innocents. Get a life dude.

southernmaid......It is more logical to put the blame with the humans who were following the "word" of their god. They have done it and apparently they have been to obsessed with "their God" to be led by your so called "devil"

The Russians you speak of was a Communist regime, also atheistic. The Khmer Rouge Communists who did the Cambodians were also Communists, athiests at heart. When the nothr Vietnamese Communists entered into the souths, there were also many killings again performed there. Don't just read a chaprter of a book 4 times and as anyone if they know it word for word. The millions of Jews murdered in Nazi Germany were hatred murders by Hitler and his thugs .Just from your statement about others you sound like you may be without a religion. Did you notice that ALL types of people get into killing wars. Try taking responsibility like a brave lad.
Pissantjerry2 if you know everything already why do you waste you time asking questions and just tell everyone just how smart you are

I can't speak for the rest of the Christian community, but I feel that we (Christians) have to love everyone regardless of whether or not we agree with them. I don't see how you can possibly say that ""unfounded" and "blind faith" beliefs have only made matters worse." Like any other religion their are people in every religion who act in the name of the religion while actually not following the views of that religion at all. They use religion as a shield for their own personal gain. Even with all our prayers we can't know the divine plan and so we can only pray about what we see now. God knows what has, is, and will happen and he acts accordingly. In the grand design (it hurts me to say this) it may be necessary for all those people to die to prevent far greater catastrophes than we can even imagine. To think about what could have been is crazy and a waste of time.

God loves everyone. He is an equal opportunity lover..lol... As for the wars, sickness, and other bad things, blame the Devil, not God. God rules the Heavens while the Devil rules for the earth. for now. Once Jesus comes, the Devil will be no more. God allows this because He wants Man to make his own decisions. To do this, you have a second point of view and a second person to present you choices. That is the Devil. Hope this helps, have a great day and thanks for the question.

There is a difference between talking about love and actually practicing it.
I was once at a seminar where people were talking about love, and I asked the question "How many people is it humanly possible to love? " Because for me, loving means taking care of, speaking out for, protecting, etc.
Of course, if you shift the responsibility for loving to God, you can cop out.
Do some religions encourage that kind of spiritual irresponsibility more than other religions? I don't know the answer to that.

Wow! Lets take a break here. Are you going to start blaming September 11th on God too? God gives us as humans the free will to do whats right or wrong BECAUSE he loves us. It is the fault of Hitler that 6 Million Jews died. It is the fault of terrorists that 3000 people died on September 11th.
We as humans have a choice. God doesn't make anyone kill people. Grow up.
Go loved each and every one of the Holocaust and Cambodian victims. Death is a part of life. We will all die

It's just like us humans to blame what we do on someone else.
Don't be fooled. Many have indeed invoked religion as justification for atrocities. But, they too, are shifting blame for their behavior. There is no promise in the Bible that if we pray and worship really really diligently the world will be in peace. Instead, it promises wars, tribulation, persecution, etc. The point is to save ones own soul. Not to impeach others.
You do not mention any examples of atrocities made on religious people by atheistic governments. They too, will use concepts of their own choosing to justify their actions and viewpoints.

What you think doesn't really matter. We have no business second-guessing God. We have no business judging what He does and doesn't do.
