I have found that most athiest I have met on YA are hypocrits. They themselve do not want to be told what to believe in but they are always asking "questions" that imply that what others believe is wrong and they they should become and athiest. Just wondering why they don't practice what they preach?

No they just don't have a god..
They have the religion of "no god" and worship there..
They really worship themselves and their own opinion of life and everything in it..

Yahoo Answers is unique in that it is an open forum for all of us to probe each others thinking. Nobody with a functioning brain, is gonna have a change of heart just from hearing someone elses opinion. If it bothers you that someone has baited others with a question only to point out how "wrong" they are, that's how it feels to be a non believer in this so called "christian society".

Most people of all religious beliefs are hypocrits - this is not limited to Athiests. I am a Christian and I know that sometimes I am a hypocrit. People in general are hypocrits. I'm sure you are in some way too.

I do not need to tell people what to believe. They can find out for themselves. Science is based on the everyday and testable.

What about the hypocritsy of some religios people on here. Saying its all about truth yet when we ask for the evidence (which truth MUST be based on, they just reply - well it is belief. And of course what they believe is the only truth.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! (good one atheist jesus)

Look, I don't want you to become an atheist. I want you to learn to think critically for yourself (a.k.a. asking questions.) and if you've got a modicum of intelligence, you'll come to atheism all by yourself.

I'll believe any reasonable theory with sufficient supporting evidence, and I'll abandon one that's proven wrong? How much LESS hypocritical can a person be?

They do "practice what they preach" in that they make up all their own beliefs, so that whatever they do, falls in line with their whim of the moment. Because they have no allegiance to anything but their own mind, there's no conflict!

I agree with you as a Christian but, I also think there are a lot of other beliefs on here that do the same thing. Esp. Christians who judge. Not our job, Our job is to present Christ and show what He has done in our lives. Thanks for the question. Have a Super day!!

Do you even know what I preach? I doubt it. You just enjoy making vast generalizations and applying them to entire groups of people. Shame on you.

1. Check the dictionary for the correct spelling of the word "Atheist"
2. Check the dictionary for the definition and spelling of the word "hypocrite"
3. Check with any 3rd grader on how to correct your grammar

Once you have improved your general education, you will probably realize how ridiculous your question is.

The answer to your question (what I could make of it) is no.
