I need to know, and I feel these questions are best answered by other men ! Is it wrong to listen to love songs and soft disco (mostly oldies)! And because I was unable to have children.Am I not supposed to keep the possibility of one day getting married again? How can you get married and not have sex .Since, sex is mainly for having children. And as Christian women are we allowed to buy sexy pajamas or only flannel type sleepwear. Thank you!

Before I say anything else- this is an honest question, so you flame, you get reported. That being said; DO you think the majority of skeptics, are too dismissive of the paranormal (religion included) or do you think they actually want to know the truth. It’s my personal opinion that if I popped up with a video of an interview with a ghost taken from three different camera’s and corroborated by 85 people, I’d still be dismissed as a fraud, because people don’t want to know, they just want to defend their beliefs. What would a person have to do to prove the paranormal to the average skeptic? Do you think skeptics find a way to MAKE something explainable even if the explanation makes less sense than a paranormal conclusion? Isnt this just as bad as a person who blindly believes in the paranormal WITHOUT evidence? If you’re going to respond with “It would never happen cause it’s not real” don’t bother this is hypothetical, and I don’t want that kind of response, I want real mind searching

It remains true whether it's fair or not that for most non-believers and non-Americans, Jerry Falwell represents the model American Christian.

“To suppose that whatever God requireth of us that we have the power of ourselves to do, is to make the Cross and Grace of Jesus Christ of none effect.”

It's a bit older, which makes for the strange grammar. What do you think this guy was getting at? Thank you all in advance for your thoughts, and Happy Friday!!!

I asked this section who believed in a God (creator) and who did not in this section with two different questions. So far the results are intriguing (I got the opposite results in the polls section)

Who believes in God (creator)?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070517104003AAJGXbY&r=w

Who does not?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070517104111AA8i8IC&r=w

I find the results so far intriguing.

It seems highly irregular that the bible ignores the main character but addresses his birth, childhood and later life only but ignores his development into the ''Prince of Peace'' (his early adulthood) delivering the ''good news'' whereever he went. Why is this? Why is it that most christians focus on Christ dying for their own sins selfishly, and not on the gospel or his divine life and teachings? How do we get the mercy of Issa Krsta? Please do not be offended by my questions. Rather view this as review on a very important individual (hence a most important subject)- the son of God.

With love

It's obvious the law demands perfection, but cannot make any comers thereunto perfect, since it is faulty. Wrongful convictions is proof the law is not perfect, but imperfct.

Obedience unto law is obedience unto death, not life.
Obedience unto grace is obedience unto life, not death.

A lot of persons call themselves Muslims, yet they don't cover their heads, nor fast, nor pray. And they respect homosexuals. I mean, it's silly. Why do you call yourself a muslim when you contradict what you confess?

Same goes for Christians. How can you be pro-choice, and pro homosexuality, when your religion clearly states that abortion and homosexuality are mortal sins.

I just don't get it. What's the reason of having a belief, which you don't believe in?!

I saw it for the first time last night and wanted to know what others thought
for me
I'm sure there were some changes made by the makers of the film to make it more exciting/scary but I'm not too sure how much - i'm kind of leaning toward the majority of it being accurate since things like this are described in the Bible

e) cruel during War, Some Irish are too short-tempered, Some Reservation Indians drink too much, Some Muslims are murderers, etc., etc.
I admit that some racists will use this information to criticize all members of the groups mentioned, but they are already racists and will find always find some reason to criticize.
When a non-racist wants to help one of these groups, say the blacks or the indians, how can he help if he is going to be called a racist? How can you help anyone if you don't first admit that there is a problem, and name the problem? You can't help by hiding the problem. The group with the problem can't help themselves by pretending that the problem does not exist.
Shouldn't the people who answer on this Yahoo Answers service stop shouting racist everytime someone mentions a problem that some members of a particular group have? Couldn't most of the country's racial problems have been solved years ago, if we weren't afraid to discuss them honestly and openly?

14 "Traditions"... See here that the unwritten traditions are no less to be received than their epistles.

16 Exhort your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word

Why are we humans always trying to be perfect. Who is it that perfect being we compare ourselves to, or what is that perfect state we are trying to attain?

There must be perfection. If there's no perfection , then how come we feel it, and try to manifest it everday? Some people manifest it throught art (Da Vinci), others through love (Romeo & Juliet), others through deep worshiping (Saints), and others through altruism and self giving (Mother Teresa).

Where did the term "perfect"come from?
Is it something that has always existed, or a concept that evolved with the progress human intellect?

Do you think we are worshippers of perfection? Is God only an imaginary being who embodies and represents this perfection?

Too many questions, sorry I know, but you got the message. Try to give one answer.

It would be fun to take the message of Wicca into some of the countries that may not have heard, such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, the Vatican, etc.

That would be a fun and safe trip, right?
