People who are racist are insecure about themselves. They join groups to find a bond to fit in to find purpose. So to all the people out there who spew racist epithet's ask your self deep down. What is it that you don't like about your self? Do you think your a victim? Why are you blaming others for your problems?
P.S the more thumb downs i get for this will just prove my point.

Ok. Yes, your statement is racist. Just because why is it that you have to point out certian groups? Is it ONLY some BLACK people that peddle drugs, aren't there drug dealers of ALL races? What about hypocrites, religious or not? Are they all white? No. It is the same with everything that you mentioned. All of the people that are short tempered are not Irish and certainly there are people of all races that drink too much. You say " the group with the problem" , that is racist and stereotypical. And the countries racial problems are caused by people that make statements like this one. I am not accusing you of being racist, you just need to reevaluate your thinking on this one. IMHO........

The answer is simple enough. Drop the racial qualifications because they imply that people of other races don't share those negative attributes. Do people other than black people peddle drugs? Are people other than white people religious hypocrites? Were the Japanese the only ones who were cruel to people during War?
Obviously not. This country's racial problems will not be solved by saying more of one group of a certain ethnicity have a statistically higher rate of negative behavior in a certain area than other people. Racial problems will get solved when people's hearts are changed one at a time by the power of God and the Spirit of Jesus like it is at the church that I attend http://www.alcf.net
Colossians 3:11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Some of the above statements are just pure simple prejudice. Everyone can be peddling drugs, religious hypocrites, cruel during wars, shot-tempered and so on.....
These problems you're talking about are all human problems and don't just belong to one group. Some questions on Yahoo Answers are just asked to start trouble.

You are indulging in stereotyping - whether that becomes racist depends on how you use the stereotype.
It's a stereotype because it highlights some characteristics of a given group - people object to it because it paints everyone with the same brush.
But you nail the difficulty - if you don't name a problem, you can't solve it. Unfortunately, many aren't interested in solving the problem, just looking good.

Some Whites peddle drugs, some Blacks are religious hypocrites, Some Americans were cruel during WWII. Why do you target certain races of people, when ALL PEOPLE of ALL RACES have problems? Grow up, my friend.

There will always be 'some' bad apples, of every race, nationality, sex, etc. When we isolate certain groups to address a problem, we always sound prejudiced. The best way would be to address the problem, not the group of people. But I really don't think that would solve anything either.

So are you linking these issues and races?
black > might peddle drugs
whites > might be religious hypocrites
japanese > might be cruel in wars
?
Some whites peddle drugs
Some Japanese peddle drugs
Some Irish peddle drugs
Can you see where I am going with this?

"Some" members of all of these racial groups have done all of the bad things mentioned. However you cannot generalise about any individual based on what another person has done or because he is a member of any group.

Actually if you are going to say some blacks peddle drugs, then you gotta say some white do too, and so do some Puerto Ricans, and some chinese...etc. It seems you are narrowing it down to ONE race when naming these things, when its EVERY race. Otherwise you are just being stereotypical!
