Anyone else noticing the most outlandish claims on behalf of "christianity" never come with references to the Bible?

Is it too much to expect those who answer questions about "christianity" to actually have read their bibles enough to be able to support every single answer with an appropriate reference to chapter and verse so the rest of us can confirm or refute the claim?

I'm not asking for quotes, just the name of the book, chapter and verse for every answer a "christian" provides about what they believe.

Mar 7:6-9 ISV
(6) He told them, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites. As it is written, 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
(7) Their worship of me is empty, because they teach human rules as doctrines.'
(8) You abandon the commandment of God and hold to human tradition."
(9) Then he said to them, "You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep your own tradition!

Shintoism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism - Eastern Religions that are very peaceful, concerned with enlightenment and self-discovery. Christianity - Most dominant religion emphasizing the imitation of the life of Christ, a life lead by devotion and love of the Lord and all that He made. Judaism - in some ways different to Christianity, but has same concept of leading a life of devotion to God just without the figure of Christ. Hinduism - concerned with reaching eternal Nirvana through a dharmic life. Islam - what happened to it? dhimmitude, women as second-class citizens, persecution of Christians and other religions, persecution of homosexuals, senseless fatwas, vilification of sexuality, murder of family members for honor, iconoclasm (Bamiyan Buddhas), theocracy, curtailment of free speech (Egyptian bloggers, Great Firewalls). Other religions have faults too, but their faults are not sanctioned by the religion themselves, unlike in Islam. I would like to hear your sides & opinions.

With the ever increasing number of Protestant denominations each day, why can't most Protestant brethren openly recognise there is something wrong going on in accepting the allow-ability of denominationalism? How can physical as well as doctrinal disunity led to spiritual unity in the Holy Spirit in some sort of "invisible" community as explained by those who accept the existence of denominationalism and even argue for it in ecumenical terms for the purpose of evangelisation?

How can we be an example to the world if we evangelise with watered-down doctrine and theology on unity to those potentional converts to Christianity? Does not denominationlism present a lie to those outside Christianity?

It is really strange and it is very unbiblical, it seems like they believe in Limbo, they also believe that when you get to heaven then you will be with your immediate family like on earth.

Many people say "When i get to heaven, i will see my wife again" or they say "I will see my children or Dog".
It seems to me like they are looking for their family and not God, I want to see God more anything when i get to heaven, we aren't even sure if we would remember our family becasue we will all have a new body that pleasing to God.

I'm always amazed by the recent generation and it's misunderstanding of what worship of God is all about. It seems we are being attacked from within with the stresses of how to keep the young and hypoactive alert and attentive during Godly worship. The novelity of the day is to stress the usage of what is called "contemporary" music during worship but is this compatable with the liturgical nature of Christian worship for the first 1900 plus years of Christianity or is it better left to converts and revivals outside of Christian worship? Obviously if one is unfamilar with what is liturgical than it will be harder to grasp what I'm getting at and I suggest studying ancient Christian worship before condemming my question.
