I do not believe it is a denial of the resurrection as I feel if God can resurrect those turned to dust so too can He do this with ashes.

King Xerxes tells us that he doesn't want your food or your money, just your submission. If you bow down to him and surrender to him, then you will be rewarded, but if not you will be destroyed. The man who stands against him is a free thinking man who promotes freedom, which is a fairly anti-biblical position considering the place of slaves is so well defined in the bible as is the wife's place in a household as subserviant to her man. Leonidus ignores his gods, says to hell with his people who have been bribed (bribery being a rigidly conservative trait and rampant in religious authorities mind you). Finally you have him standing before the man who calls himself the "King of Kings" and "The Lord of Hosts" who says he will give Leonidus heaven if he only submits. Leonidus looks towards the traitorous hunchback and says "may you live forever." So that he may live eternally with the guilt of submitting to a pompous arrogant yet all powerful force. Damnation before slavery... never kneel

Fellows,

Why do some people believe that Constantine I created the Catholic Church?

You see, the reign of Constantine was AD 280- AD 337 whereas the first mention of the Catholic church was in St. Ignatius' writing "katholike ecclesia" in 110 AD. The Catholic church was also merely an attempt by St. Paul to form a uniform system of beliefs between all of the varied locales of the early Christians. This system became a heirarchy which was described by St. Clement in the year 96 AD when he detailed the church as an army where "not all are officers.. each has his rank, carrying out the orders of the leader."Also, the "scholar" Origen was arrested and wrote numerous letters pleading for papal intercession in ~ AD 280.

So, where is PROOF that Constantine created the church despite the numerous accounts of a previously functional catholic church?

How come I can't pray, when I try, I always feel as if nobody is listening. And it makes me feel sad, so I stoppred praying.
But how come others know or feel (in a way) that there is a God listening and I feel as if I'm talking to myself...

It would be beneficial to know if many of the posts concerning evolution are well considered. Would you be kind enough to let us know your credentials so that when we read your posts we can extend proper respect and weigh your evidence more heavily?

I heard that some jews whant to blow up the dome of the rock and rebiuld the temple of soloman over it. But they are not aloud to other wise the muslim shall get angry. This i find really insulting some other jews have also tried to convert it into a new version of the temple by place jewish holy scriptures and things like that. The to be aloud to do this those jews must find the arch of the covernent (the holy of holies) and acourding to scripsures have someone touch it and then they should brust into flames. If this happens then it proves judaism is the true religion and they shall be aloud do destory the dome. But until they do that they have no rigth they say "oh its not holy so we should be aloud" NO! it is holy to you show abit of religius understanding. i dont like it first prove biulding a temple which has no proof that it once stood there will fufill a prophocy then you have a right too. ( if you where offended sorry) also dont comment on spelling or you shall be flagged.

How many perspectives have you chosen to view the universe and why do you only look at it through one? What makes what you believe in right and others wrong?

I dont follow any affiliation-just wanna hear what the community is thinking on this

Fellows, this is a bit of a wordy question, so bear with me. :D

In general, everything created bears the mark of its creator simply by being formed by his unique vision. For example, some famous paintings can be characterized by style, layout, medium usage, etc- these paintings all bear the creator's vision and their brand. Therefore, do you believe that God is in everything that He creates? Does He sign His name on his creations and leave a lasting mark by which His works are evident?

The point of this question being- If this does in fact happen and God created Hell, is a part of Him imbued in the creation of this place? If so, why do people argue that in Hell, God is not felt?

One more thing people should be aware of when the cite some "expert" with an anti-evolution point of view. In every subject, be it biology, physics, or whatever, you will find a professor with a Ph.D. and a completely crazy idea about his/her subject. Some of these professors have produced very good work in the past, but for whatever reasons, have slipped away from scientific rigor and into crackpot beliefs.

My point is that you have to be very careful about who you listen to. If you find a geologist, for example, that believes the earth was 6000 years old, ask yourself, what papers has he/she published? Were they in peer-reviewed journals? If so, what was that journal's ranking? What do other experts in this field think about this scientist? Do any other articles cite this paper?
