Actually, yes I did go to church today.

And yes, I did feel good about being there and going, but you're missing the point. You don't go to church to "feel good". That's just a small side-effect, and not a reason for attending.

I go to church to give thanks to my Creator for all He has given me in the way of grace and blessings. I go to pray for those who are troubled and that may need my prayer support. And, as a Catholic, I also go because I believe that God is actually physically present in that church, and we partake of Him, in the real and literal sense, as was instructed by Christ Himself (John, Chapter 64).

Nope, and church never made me feel good. Some sermons sometimes do touch you (even though I am not even a Christian). And for a while you feel different, but it is the same as watching a sad or shocking movie that gets you to think a bit about things. But after a while those feelings dissapear and you can "sleep it off". The words of the person giving the sermon are just words it does not do anything. Perhaps there is this emotional response sometimes though.

Yes I did. I took the doggies for a walk at 7.30. The sun was shining; the birds were giving themselves sore throats singing their little hearts out; there was no traffic, and no other poeple on the road. That's my kind of church. I felt at one with the universe and all was well with the world.

I hope everyone else has had a good start to the day.

No, but I went to a religious meeting. The Church is an institute , established by humans, and has nothing to with the principles of The Bible anymore. It is involved in politics ,corruption homosexuality ,wars e.o. Therefore it is a tool of the Devil that misleads human beings

No, I did not. But I read my Bible and have prayed several times. I always went to church and I felt good but I can't find one that gets into my spirit where I live. We are rather oppressed here so we read the Good Book and pray. I hope you felt good today and God bless!
