I've asked this question hundreds of times. One of the times I asked this was when I got on my knees and prayed to God to know if the Book of Mormon was His word. I didn't say the exact words "Is that so?" but I asked Him to reveal to me if it was true or not. I received a powerful witness through my feelings that it was the truth. I felt serene and peaceful, a warmness permeated by being. The feeling was so sweet that I cried and my body trembled as the tears flowed. I knew at that time that what I was experiencing was the Holy Ghost testifying to me of the authenticity of the Book of Mormon and what the LDS missionaries had taught me. This is my personal testimony, and I share it with you in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you.

Truly yours,

Arthur :)

I see what you are getting at but the greatest thing on earth is the truth and we should never sell it out for the sake of being `a nice guy`
