It's really sad

Dying at 20 is surely a waste of life, but not necessarily "tragic."

That word has received much misuse. Tragedy, by definition, involves the fall of a noble figure to some unexpected fate. In literature, it involves a hero or heroine whose potential is great but whose efforts to realize that potential are thwarted by fate: circumstances beyond his or her control.

No
It depends what happens in the 20 years alive
Some stars are bright and shine for a life time
Others shine the brightest and end with a memorable fall that we all can make a wish on!

Dying in pain at any age is a tragedy.

Dying without pain at any age is only a problem for those left behind.

ONLY for us who stay behind.

My sisters only son died at 21. He had a brilliant life, lived it to the fullest, did more than what many of us did. (good, bad and ugly!) I am sure he went to something better.

It is however sad that we have to continue without him. We tend not to expect the young to die before us.

When God created man He put the desire to live forever in his heart................. so dying at any age is a major tragedy.

Ecclesiastes 3:11........Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart,

OMG. How sad.
Life is just beginning.
Yes, it is a tragedy.
Life is so short, we are born to die.
But, not that early.
We all have purposes in our life.
Maybe, just maybe, that person, was here with us , for one reason only.
They, obviously, fullfilled that wish.
And, sadly, they are going to leave, us once again.

Tis a tragedy agreed, but not a major one. Our world is already overpopulated. Sounds cold, I know, but it is getting truer and truer every day, especially in poor communities where welfare is a reward for excessive child-bearing.
