I dont believe in judging people on their religious beliefs, I believe everyone is free to believe as he or she wishes. I dont understand why people just cant respect people for who they are, and not what they worship or believe. I have friends who are christian, atheists, jehovah witness, catholic ect. My point being Dont hate someone because of their religious preference, Love them for the person they are.. Let me know what you think?

I'm a christian who goes to church, joins fellowships, serves in sunday school ministry, gives financially, and hangs out with mostly church-goer friends.. I truly believe in God and I'm very thankful of his grace and salvation.. I know all about the importance of prayer, but for some reasons, I'm having the hardest, hardest time trying to pray. I never know what to say other than thank you for what I've had... I've never really "heard" anything from God either.. although I know he's there and real. Help!

Faith is belief without evidence. How can that be a virtue?

For years I vaguely believed in God and partially subscribed to various Christian values. In recent years I have become actively involved with Christianity, studying, worshipping and taking a very evangelical stance. This is because a less intensive approach seems to me to fall short of Christ's specific teachings and might constitute false religion, although it would of course involve less effort. Be that as it may, I find that if I do not study and worship very regularly I begin to weaken. I feel that given a year alone I would soon revert to my old stance. Does this happen to most of us, or am I fundamentally lacking?

So people like Moses and Juses were sent by god to teach people to be good, believe in god, pray god and... Why we don't see people like them anymore these days?

People from all beliefs: Do you like the stories Jesus used to tell? Do you think there's much wisdom to be found in his speech? I'm an agnostic for instance, but I can say that I admire his teachings very much. Many common quotes, that we use today, are attributed to Him.

I understand that many documents, and discoveries by L. Ron Hubbard are presently used as foundations of Scientology doctrine. How is it claimed that he came up with this information? Did he do research, if so where? Did he claim to find ancient documents? I'm curious how he claims to have discovered these techniques.

Do you see what you want to see?

Do you see what you do not want to see?

Do you see potential?

Do you see ruin?

Do you wish or hope for change in yourself?

Do you admire yourself and who you are?

Do you make faces at yourself and laugh? < this is my favorite one.

So why did god only start to 'talk' to Jesus 2000 years ago. What was he doing from the period he 'created' the earth till Jesus' time? Or is this just another example of how ludicrous the whole bible religion story is?

Where was he when I was being raped at age 8? I called out to him to help me, and he didn't do a dam thing. The one that raped me was my babysitter, why couldn't he send someone to knock on the door to interupt this monster and save me? How could you say he cares so much for me when he would allow such a thing?

Love suffers long and is kind. love dos not envy or parade itself, it's not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek it's own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things; believes all things; hopes in all things, and endures all things. Love never fails........................................................................... And now abide faith, hope, & love, these three; but the greatest is love.

Is marriage is the symbol of love ?.

everyone in the religion section is so angry. you keep telling everyone else that theyre attacking your views and then you turn around and attack them. can everyone just do youself a favor and realize that most of you would probably get along if you stopped thinking that just because you do or dont believe in god doesnt definitavely mean you hate the other sides ideas?

1% of these are because of rape= 6% due to health of the mother, and 93% because of it being not the right time to have a child. Probably you have figured out from answers you have read that I have written and this question alone, that I am pro-life. But I am very interested to hear why you think it is ok to abort a baby at all especially just because you are not ready to parent?
